Yes, we are all annoyed by many of the cheesy story als. So I am listing off the worst. Feel free to comment with your own opinions.
Arbo - He is a retarded talking tree stump type thing. He is the most idiotic sounding, and looks hideous. I have never heard anything good about him. He is probably the most corny story al in the game. Mainly because of this one line. "We are ALL remarkable creations". Come on, try to at least ACT normal.

Flynn - This guy is a total d-bag! What a selfish inconsiderate flea bitten jerk! Such as bad example on a game like this. Insulting Diggs, harassing Cali, and acting like the world revolves around him. Most hate him. Others like him because he acts like a cool jock. Well that's not cool -.-

Persephone - Happy dancing!!! Happy DANCING! Many secret parties! Winged sapphires like to say "HELLO!" in the most ANNOYING dang voice I have ever heard. Not to mention her hair cut makes her look like Opal off of the movie Winn Dixey, going barbie style. Stupid fairies.

Snuckles - Seriously Snuckles, just punk out like you know you want to. You say you are a secret agent and a master of disguise. Well, considering you told EVERYONE that, you have already failed. Just give up, man up, and get a job that suits you better...like gardening.

Diggs - You sir, are annoying as well. I know he is blind and all, but that does not mean he has to act stupid as well.

Kaos - SHUT, UP!!! Evil laughs are SO last year! Now a days, the bad guys just do it. Without stalling. I am glad you swallowed a bug. It got you to shut up for 5 seconds at least. Need I say more? He is also ugly :/

Glumshakes - I like Glumshakes. He reminds me of Squidward...I like Squidward...

Rizzo - This guy is cool. His voice sounds cool, and only cool people can appoint themselves as a captain.

Blobbers - ...I got his name mixed round with Snuckles. Probably because I hate them equally...

We all think this is weird. Gill Grunt being a called a land lubber is one thing. But the undead part is the worst. I went through the undead levels with chop chop and goast roaster. It bugged the heck outta me when the skeleton kept cracking skeleton jokes, living jokes, and things like that. Because chop chop and goast roaster are skeletons. And undead. So WTH!?

I hate Blobbers (what kind of name is that, anyways?), Flynn, 'cause he's a jerk, Arbo, he's just plain dumb. And... drum-roll, please! (Budumbadumbadumbadum x400) PERSEPHONE!!! I HATE HER. She's the most annoying thing ever. Thank God I play on the Wii and I can skip most of her crap! I feel bad for people who can't skip it.

I actually dislike everyone except Eon, Gurglefin, Arbo and Rizzo. And Quigley, but he doesn't really have anything to do with anything else. The storytelling in this game is very poor even for something for kids.

Since I booted up the game I have HATED Flynn completely. He's one of the worst characters to graze the grasses of anything... Ever.

Arbo- 'I learned humor', no you learned how to annoy the crap out of me. I don't like his voice either.

Then the one mole who apparently broke his foot but was walking normally a few minutes later, lier.

It was annoying when me and my friend beat oilspill island with gill grunt and zap and gurglefin called us landlubbers. Flynn saying boom gets old fast, but it was kinda funny when he said it to boomer

Arbo - He reminds me of "The Banana Splits." (Look it up if you don't know)

Persephone - "Too much LDS in the 60's." -Captain Kirk, Star Trek IV

Kaos - When his armored suit blew up and he goes "splat" I cheered. He really is a prick.

Glumshanks - Why does he stick around Kaos? He did look like he was just about to blow his top after returning to the castle all scorched.

The Mabu - Just what the heck ARE they, anyway?

Flynn - Can I throw Flynn out of his own balloon while high above Skylands?

Cali - A little snotty, but I like her.

Whoa,I'm the only one who doesn't despise most of the NPCs? Quigley doesn't count,his references make him awesome.

Flynn gets the most hate with reason(though he has some positive points with me for being the only one to break the Fourth Wall on purpose),but he could be worse. At least he matches his personality,unlike....
....Goddamn Diggs.God,I hate that mole,considering Mole-Yair,Exhumor and Mason were such cool characters in LOS.
At first,he was cool,the ditz who can't see well and is afraid of anything,just nice.But,during the Fire Source arc,he just goes OOC and starts being a spoiled asshole,cocky and completely useless(why is the train needed to cross the Lava Lakes again?),and enjoying all of that stuff. As annoying as Arbo is,as stoned as Persephone sounds,at least they all have consistent personalities. Diggs doesn't even know how he's supposed to act like.

I'm kinda neutral with most other characters, though the Robot General is kinda funny,so is the Lockmaster Imp(does he count as an NPC?). Weapon Master, I think I shall not judge him now. Considering he's an Arkeyan,it's better to see if he's that full of himself for a reason or just the standard mysterious character of mysteriousness.

How the hell is Hugo not up there? Everyone one else is tolerable, imo, but he is just so annoying and a suck up. He's like Twilight Sparkle is she wasn't likeable.

I dunno which one it is, but there's this one Mabo who always sounds like he has a cold who I dislike. I think it's Blobbers.

Ok, lemme go through my list o' spins on each character

-Kaos: All I can say here is Invader Zim. I loved Zim, so I love Kaos because the 2 characters might as well be the same. I suppose the only difference, Kaos actually had a success in his career.

-Flynn: Ego too big for his actions, but how many other pilots you know that would fly a balloon anywhere near a giant twister?

-Arbo: The tree-man savant. Pretty total goofball and sorta dumb, but he just has the gift to communicate with the trees. Sorta that whole, everyone has at least 1 thing they can do well.

-Gurglefin: Who doesn't have that one friend they know that cracks bad jokes and complains about really anything? He's pretty relatable

-Diggs: As mentioned, he seems to go through a personality change at some point. The thing that bugs me most, is he gets pretty up-in-arms over the Molekin miners after how many chapters go by? Sorry, only 2 ways to make this one work: Have a cutscene where Diggs barely escapes the cave-in or use a different molekin.

-Cali: Not really a major contributing factor outside of being the mechanic for accessing the Heroic Challenges, so hard to really take her in context.

-Hugo: Tries to be a know-it-all, but ends up being a little too presumptuous at times and pretty much gets himself in trouble, so I'm kinda iffy on him.

-The-rich-guy: Who is he and why is he even around? I didn't even bother to learn his name as he only has like 1 line of dialogue in the whole storyline that I'm aware. You are useless, please go away.

-Persephone: Yeah, somebody slipped when they were setting the child-friendly personality for her, it's like a pre-schooler show.

Dude, I am sensing your taking this a bit too seriously.... their characters in a video game. Also, Flynn does have a selfless side in the Machine of Doom he risked his safety so Kaos wouldn't control Skylands.

I also hate the PvP anncouncer, he's SO ANNOYING. If you don't fight for 5 seconds, he says "Where's the action?!?" or "Spectators are loosing interest!" Well, boo-hoo spectators, last I checked, I was supposed to be killing you, and why are enemies always the ones watching, it's always the giant eyeball, or trolls, or the Drow, or Cyclopses, why can't we kill the spectators, all they do is clap or pump their fist, why can't we have them fall of the side? Also, the announcer always over-dramatises things. Like when you get food, I always frown when he says "PBNJ!!!!" or "CUPCAKE!!!" and I hate most of all when he says "CHINEESE FOOOOOOD!!!!!!"...

Sometimes, the announcer just yells "SHEISH KEBAB" for no reason, even after the battle. One time, when Prism Break won, he just said it while Prism break did his victory pose!

I'm finding this absolutely hilarious!

But still, I absolutely hate Flynn (he's a jerk and has too big of an ego), T-Bone (always acting like the missions aren't a big deal) and Persephone (just gets on my nerves: "Happy Dancing" "Play with upgrades"). SHEESH!! How much can we take!?

Digs I dislike, but not as much as those three. Sometimes, I go to the Crystal Eye Castle just to see him go flying off the edge after getting hit by the cyclops' exploding barrels.

this game was aimed at a young group, being cheesy is "funny" for the audience skylanders was made for. if this is some hardcore game for teens then i think is the right time to complain.

PVP Announcer is actually one of my favorites. He's awesomely cheesy.
