I love that this is going to be my first appearance to you guys.

Topic from Stuff and Nonsense.
The S&N wanted to let you guys know this. I decided to deliver the message and take whatever negative message I'll get. If that happens.

Here's a tip:

Not everyone is trolling.
They can be simply sharing their opinion. It's ok to be a little knocked about it, but come off it nicely, and not pissed or butthurt about it.

Don't assume right off the bat that someone is trolling you when they give you a negative opinion.
It makes you look bad, and it's not being nice to the other person. Even though you don't want to, respect their opinion. Opinions are like asses, everyone has one, and they all stink.

Don't make a topic complaining about it in the first place.
If it's not worth complaining about to other people, and if a large group can't agree on it, it's not worth it. If it's all about you, it's not worth it.
Most people, believe it or not, will not pity you.
It's life, get over it.

Stop feeling insulted if you are a new user. This message is not for you only.
It's just to get somethings cleared up so we don't have fights. The reason for this is to prevent fights in the future, not start them.

Though I'm sure she meant both old and new. She probably was angry at a new one at the moment and forgot to mention that this was toward old users too.

But stereotypes do have some truth's to them and the new users (like me) tend to shoot themselves in the foot (unlike me.) My advice to younger users is too grow a thick skin.

Do NOT double post.
There's something called an edit button. Don't know what it is? Look at your post along the bottom of it. You'll see it. Double posting annoys other users and it wastes space in the topic. If you've double or have multiple posts in a row recently, go back to the topic, delete those other comments, then edit the first post.

Being impatient only causes trouble.
It annoys people and annoys the person that your being impatient with. Whether it's Activision or a user, they won't take kindly to it, and will ignore you and forget about your request if you keep asking over and over.

While I agree with this,it's no excuse to yell out how Y is harassing X because he/she's new. There have been countless users who make accounts simply to troll others or post spam,not to mention some users who keep annoying everyone and never get away with it because their age/behavior/time using DS somehow makes it okay to troll. That said, not everyone does this on purpose; it's the right thing to do to give them a warning that it's offtopic/offensive so they can notice what's wrong,but not be outright rude.
