Everypony knows this game is godawful easy.

But there is a reason that Chop Chop is so awful and weak.

In the old days, Chop Chop was the king of damage and chaos, and rules without the iron fist, yet decided and succeeded in defeating it in a pure mortal state... But alas, this is a story for another time, and I put forth a proposition of true difficulty today, to fix our problems of gods and kings and (insert fancy-sounding thing here).

Please give feedback on what could be changed if you attempt this challenge.


A single stone rule applies to all modes: use Chop Chop at all times to finish the game. Easy. Eeyup.
If you wish to you can change any other rule but your record will not count on our WINNER! list and only the R.I.G.S. list.




Searching up and seeing Cloudberry Kingdom should tell you how hard I intend this to be.

• Not allowed to buy Upgrades.
  
• Not allowed to finish Heroics.
  
• Can only visit each level once. (No HP grinding!)
  
• If Chop Chop needs to rest, it's game over and you need to start a new file.
  
• Magic Items and Location Pieces in levels are banned.
  
• Visiting Adventure Pack levels is fine, though. One visit rule still applies.
  
• Game over and start a new file if you hit an enemy with a Bomb or Rockets. (Exlcuding obstacles requiring it and Chainsaws in Falling Forests Wii)
  

Should make it fair for beginners.

• Allowed to buy Basic Upgrades.
  
• Allowed to finish Speed Heroics.
  
• Allowed to visit each level twice.
  
• If Chop Chop needs to rest, restart the chapter. If he needs to rest again throughout any point of the game, however, it's game over and you need to start a new file.

• Visiting Adventure Pack levels is fine, though. Two visits rule still applies.
  
• Game over and start a new file if you KO an enemy with a Bomb or Rockets. (Exlcuding obstacles requiring it and Chainsaws in Falling Forests Wii)
  

By no standard is the eShop game easy... Other than this challenge.

• Allowed to buy Basic Upgrades and one Path Upgrade.
  
• Allowed to finish Speed Heroics.
  
• If Chop Chop needs to rest, restart the chapter. If he needs to rest again within the same chapter, it's game over and you need to start a new file.

I would love to give away some art but there's just no way I can think of to prove it for people who finished this unless they were to tape an entire playthrough. I intended this to be more of a filler challenge like, indeed, the Nuzlocke. If anyone finds a solid way to prove this, please PM me or post here. For now, you will just be honored in the list on the first post, even if you are in the middle of the challenge.

Well I suppose you can go into those chapters for experience if you want, but I mean when you use them in a chapter and they do 999 damage to everything.

I just realized that Kaos is going to be the hardest battle ever in Cloudberry Kingdom like the battle in the beginning of the lord of the rings when sauron was defeated

Heh, that's why I started on Dark Souls Just see Cloudberry Kingdom in action and you'll understand why I made it so hard:

So basically its bring the soul shattering difficulty of top gun NES and battletoads NES backto destroy our very being?

Im still debating if I want to make a photobucket or just make a blog for photos so when I decide that I'll have photos up

Now all that seems kind of mundane because I know I'll have to start another profile when I die (no ifs Im definitely going to croak).

And thats where I'll leave Cloudberry Kingdom for now so I can start on the other two challenges

Thanks for the support! Im going to start playing again after work and I predict my death/new file start will happen at the water source boss battle. If I get past it I'll be stunned. but thats my prediction.

Ok, I beat Kaos! Woohoo!! I beat him with 70 health left, and let me tell you guys saying it's easy so far, IT GETS PRETTY HARD, esp. when you have to kill Kaos with a 10 damage sword. I may have been a little late, but I tried really hard, and my least favorite part of it was having to battle Kaos' Hydra spells, 'cause they damage a huge chunk every time one hits you. I have no way of posting any photos, because I'm not allowed to have accounts on any photo sites (which sucks).

Nope, non-Undead Elemental Gates are banned.

Then the soul gem is unobtainable bye standard methods.

Any hats you can get without using other Elemental Gates are banned. Just keep in mind you can't equip one from another file.

Yep, you can now use Legendary Chop Chop as long as you have him.

I was gonna say you could just reset Chop then get whatever Upgrades you had back and continue, but if you've already reset, I guess this is moot
