Will we have opportunities here on the forum to swap out our Sidekicks if we get multiples of the same character?

A friend of mine saw the special chip packages at Wal-Mart and bought four of them for me, so I'll have four mail-in offers. Since you can't actually choose your character, I'm worried about getting multiples of the same one, and the card says "limit 4 per household" so it's not like I can go on an all potato chip diet and keep trying.

I know it's a little early yet, but I just wondered if we will have that option here.

Also, should I send in all four cards at once, or should I space them out in the hopes of getting different characters?

I suggest sending them in all at once since it's "while supplies last" and, as for a swap, that's pretty tough to set up without being a scam-ready trust-based system. Your best bet would be to sell your duplicates on eBay and then buy what you missed.

there is a system i just thought of. it may be a tad complicated, but its almost fool proof, as ebay over charges

eBay is a good website with a lot of obscure stuff... I got almost all my Spyro merch, largest collection in the world, from it... Problem is you need to pay fees to use PayPal, chasing away the people who want to put reasonably priced items on it, and encouraging scalpers by giving them a reason to overcharge.

But more on-topic, isn't this topic against the rules? Even if we don't get a swapping system though can always do it through email and PM...

there's no reason why people can't swap on here. it's been done before. you just have to know you're dealing with. otherwise save up your coin for feeBay.
