The ****? It isn't just a Spyro website, it's a Spyro and Skylanders website. And as you all know Skylanders doesn't revolve around Spyro, so people who came here just for Skylanders and not any other Spyro games could very well hate Spyro because he actually IS pretty weak in SSA.

And considering this thread is in the SSA section, it's safe to assume the OP is talking about Skylanders Spyro.

You are always right, I guess. Anyway, this is a Skylanders site too and you have to show some respect to Spyro, after all, TLoS and Skylanders series are nothing without him >.<

I have to say Skylanders probably would exist if Spyro was never created in the first place. It isn't a game based around him, and Activision was going to make a game that used toys. Spyro has an incredibly small role in Skylanders compared to TLOS and the classic games-he was probably just an add-on to the games.

That said, this was a Spyro the Dragon fansite originally, so unless you like being shouted at this topic really wasn't the best idea.

And sorry to say but skylanders wouldn't be as popular I'm afraid without spyro as in, if spyro wasn't in it, I wouldn't have been as likely to have bought it. And I'm sure a bunch of others would agree with this. Spyro brought the fans in, and that was their intentions from the get-go.

They're talking about Skylanders Spyro only I'm sure, so to stop confusion of people thinking the OP is talking about the regular Spyro games (which seemed to fail) it's appropriate to put it in the Skylanders section since they're only talking about Skylanders Spyro. Otherwise it'd go on General or S&N

Though I do love Spyro in general and in SSA I can see why people who want powerful characters wouldn't like him because he is indeed one of the weaker characters in SSA.

Weaker characters? Not if you get him with the right hat, get him on the right path, and put him in some heroic challenges, he's pretty good.

My Spyro is a tank because of this.

Oh, I try to mention him whenever I can. He's one of my favorites.

And user Reaganag hates ALL Spyro with a fiery passion. He even had it on his guestbook for a while, until I told him to take it off... because it will spark a fire with a lot of people, as you can see here.

My spyro is boss in the game. He's good if you know how to use him. And since the person (Op) didn't specify) Its safe to assume they means spyro in general.

And reason why people are getting so rawr in here is because its kinda pointless to make a thread like this. The word "Hate" is a very powerful word. Now "Dislike" would have been less offensive, since I'm sure about a good 90% of the peeps here are spyro fans. It would be like me going onto a "My Little Pony" Site and making a topic of how much I hate the show. Now I know before hand its gonna cause an uproar, because its a fan site. But would that stop someone from doing it? No...of course not. But people who like attention and/or drama, do it for the lulz.

Of course they have the right to dislike him but that doesn't mean its okay to go around trolling for trollings sake. Which is basically what I'm labeling this whole thread as. Troll bait. Nothing more nothing less.

I think it's safer to assume the OP meant Spyro in Skylanders consider this is in the Skylanders section but both are possibilities I guess. It'd be nice to get confirmation.

Yeah, they're different, though some people don't get that difference, and I'm sure it'd still get plenty of "GTFO >:(>:(>:(" posts anyway either way. And I still think there is a difference since this is not JUST a Spyro site. Yeah Spyro is the main focus of the site but Skylanders is a focus too and you don't have to like Spyro to like Skylanders, unlike if you dislike MLP as a whole yet go bash it instead of disliking one character.

Ugh there's plenty of trolling here, but if this is indeed intended as a troll thread this did a wonderful job
