I remember a long time ago someone did the math that if you where to do the heroic challenges with every skylander, you would be doing 1024!!!challenges! (32x32)
If you add in legendaries that's even 37 x 32 = 1184

So I was just wondering, now that many people's collections are complete, how many have you all done? Just a few? All of them on your favorite character?

I managed to complete all 32 heroic challenges for 16 skylanders. (That's right, I got through Double Troubles stupid HC 16 times!) They are the main 16 that I have played through the game with:

I've done trigger happy, double trouble, stealth elf, and ignitor's heroic challenges on Wham Shell

My Spyro has completed all 32 challenges. I didn't really see a need to do it with the other characters.

To keep this short and quick, I've completed all 32 challenges with all 32 original skylanders

Hearing Cali say.... "WOW didn't Think I had it in ya" ... for the 100th time, just killed the fun...

I've done them all with Ghost Roaster, Stealth Elf Wham Shell, Terrafin and Zook, and I've done a few with Trigger Happy and Legendary Spyro.

I only have 22 Skylanders but 21 of them have done 27 challanges (I borrowed Voodood, Prism Break, Boomer, Wrecking Ball, Stump Smash and Chop Chop to unlock the challenges). My Ignitor hasn't done any challanges yet because my husband has claimed him for himself.

Total: 567

And Heroics are totally worth the bother, the stat increases really do make a difference.

Just opened the final three (plus the legendaries), so we've got 7 figs to go for all 32 heroics, and 30 figs that just need those final three.

Ugh. It's bad enough going through them once per figure. I can't imagine doing it again with doubles. More power to you.

My partner has got Hex up to 30/32 heroics but I just can't get the motivation to get all my Skylanders through all of the heroics, partly because Cali annoys me. I might do it eventually but I'd much rather run around a chapter instead.

When I'm doing heroics I turn the sound off and put my own music on instead, it really makes them easier to put up with.

That's actually a really good idea

Thanks Himewad After playing them through a few times you really don't need any of the sounds to do any of the 27 heroics I have unlocked... I don't know about Camo, Warnado, Wham Shell, Lightning Rod or Eruptor because I don't have them but not having to hear Cali's constant suprise at your success really makes them more tolerable.

I quite like some of the intros but when you've done them that many times they can get old... "Trolls are such jerks!" makes me smile every time though.

I can't imagine even doing all of them. Awesome job though!

When I was doing it I listened to the news on my computer with the sound completely off.

My favorite ironic quote from her has to be "I'm impressed, and I don't say that often!"

I think more people would be inclined to do heroics if there was an online battle mode... not that it looks like we'll ever see that...

I mean look at the bother people can go through to make Pokémon battle-fit... breeding for good moves/natures/IVs... that can take ages because there's so much randomness involved (particularly in IVs). And then there's EV training? That is a massive pain! Having to count the monsters you're fighting so you know you're not wasting potential stat points... Getting the best from a Pokémon is way more effort than doing a few heroics.

I've done them all with just about all of my skylanders, except for Wham Shell and his challenge. I just got my Wham shell, so I have to do all the challenges with him, and then go back to all my other figures to complete his challenge for them.

I sure wish there was a way to just skip Cali's speech. In levels, you can often skip the speeches and that is really nice.

just in case people dont know, you can hold down A on the 360 to speed up Cali's dialog.
this goes for pretty much any video game that you want to skip dialog.

Slam Bam (3 times, since I kept switching paths and didn't have a second then.)
Ignitor
Legendary Trigger Happy (Trigger Happy got close)
Cynder (Ghost Roaster got close)

Stealth Elf and Zook

I plan to finish all with all the characters at least once, but it's a long way off, since I haven't even upgraded everyone yet, and I can only play when my sister goes out and I don't even always do it then.

I hate Drobots challenge the most...

I think I've just done D-Rangs.

Don't know if I mentioned this already, but I timed it and on average, it takes about around 90 minutes to complete a full set of challenges for one character...and that's not counting if you mess up...which is pretty rare once you get used to playing all the challenges enough. That means I must have spent around 60 hours to complete all the challenges for the 40 Skylanders I have!

@Echo2VX: Wow! Didn't think you had it in ya' but you took those challenges on and really tore it up! Enjoy the extra power!

I almost re-set Ignitor and Slam Bam to start them down different upgrade paths (didn't go Soul of the Flame or Blizzard Brawler), but then I saw that it looks like each will have legendary figures in Giants. REALLY glad I don't have to re-do all of those heroic challenges. It's bad enough having to do them once.

All 32 on all 32! I never wanna play spyros adventure again, (also have 100%). I NEED GIANTS!

Here's a time-saving tip-- SKIP the elemental power challenges. Totally unnecessary for PVE and totally broken in PVP. I don't know how many there are since I'm still missing -- what is his HC? How does the math work without those?

I haven't done many heroic challenges but they are fun. Question: Does my Skylanders Spyros Adventure figures open heroic challenges in Giants?

Answered my own question...

There are 6 Elemental Power Buff Heroic Challenges.

Subtract those from your to-do list and you're down to 832 for a set of 32 Skylanders.

Using Sykotek's figure of 90 min for all 32 challenges and reducing by percentage, your new number of minutes is 73.

2,336 minutes of total fun.
