You don't understand. They've made it so that only the reposed figures can access the new upgrades and gain all ten new levels they are adding to each character. Old-pose figures from the first game will, from what I've read, only be able to gain five extra levels and none of the new upgrades.

Someone please correct me if any of that information is wrong.

It has been confirmed that they will be selling versions of 'Giants that don't include the portal, for those that already bought the first game. However, I believe the portal-less versions may still include starter figures (one giant, one new character and one reposed old character).

If I am forced to buy a re-posed figure in order to get all of the new ones, Himewad will be one angry consumer. There is no reason that Activision should force my hand if I want them all.

I'm with you, the last thing I want is reposed doubles. One figure each is more then enough for me considering I have limited room and even more limited spending money.

I'm pretty sure the only exclusive will be Tree rex however as the others make sense to be able to get on their own even if only later down the line, similar to how Stealth elf and Ignitor didn't remain exclusive to the 3ds version.

It appears that even the new reposed characters max out at level 15.

ok so its good news that they gain 5 more levels. the thing that stinks is that why can't they get new upgrades like the reposes. i rather have new upgrades then more levels. anyways i'm not getting a repose and if i happen to get 1 as a gift or something i'd probably just leave it for display (like i would with the gold silver glow in the dark ect) since they look really cool.
