Off-Topic: Lizzie, your Prism Break arrived? Maybe my Ignitor will arrive today! I'm thinking of leaving mine in its box because the American packaging is a bit different to ours.

It's possible it may have arrived yesterday, I had him sent to my shop and I only go in twice a week at the moment.

Back on topic: I imagine it feels a bit like a kick in the teeth to the 3DS players but I think it's a good thing that Dark Spyro is out in a single. It does seem a bit unfair that all 3 3DS starters will be available seperately when if you just have the 3DS game and want the Wii/PS360/PC starters you have to have legendaries (personally I prefer the look of the originals) and don't even have the option of Gill Grunt...

Here in a Canadian Toys R Us a sales rep recently told me that a "black" variant of a certain character will soon be available. After doing some searching I thought he was misinformed but now I realize it may be a Dark Spyro single pack. So we'll see if it makes it to North America.

The Dark Spyro single pack was originally only avaliable in Singapore for some unknown reason, but maybe it'll be exclusive to a certain store in certain countries.

it will be released in italy, so probably in the uk too.

I'm not surprised in a way, but it is pretty insulting to 3DS owners. Unless they're willing to do single packs of Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy and Spyro (non-variant versions), they shouldn't be releasing Dark Spyro as a stand-alone figure.

There are a few ppl selling them on ebay... But be careful there's a few that look fake.

I broke down and snagged (Won really) Myself one on ebay for a pretty good deal. Decided not to wait/chance to see if it would ever show up in the USA.

I about threw a fit when I first saw it in single pack (Since Dark spyro is my favorite and all) before I even knew they had a single pack of him out there I had always wanted one. So its 35 dollars well spent. Coming all the way from Germany so may take a week or two to get here but so worth it.

I still think that's a bit of a jerk move to the 3DS owners who were told outright that it was an exclusive for them, but that's still kinda neat.

i work at toys r us and the missus works at tesco, and word on the street is that the three main starter figures are relatively soon gonna be out as singles also

I already heard that. The 4 Adventure pack charactors are also to be included in the single packs treatment.

No, the adventure pack characters can't get a single pack! That would be pointless and make a need for them to make the location pieces and magic items seperately as well so people don't end io with doubles.

It's the same with the starter packs. Everyone except 3ds owners will have them. The main reason is for collectors to have complete sets of single pack figures.

Just wait and see, as with everything else. Activision have no news on anything.

Well, I mean, I can see it for the redesigns for Giants, but I just don't think it's very likely for Spyro's Adventure.

weve not heard anything about the adventure pack characters coming out in singles other than the remoulds, but if i do hear anything, i will let you know, ps we had a delivery last week of over 400 figures to our store alone in exeter and we had 23 glow in the dark figures, three of the staff, (me included) bought one each of zap and wrecking ball but the rest of them all went out on the shelves, so we had 17 very happy kids(well probably scalpers) but they were put out for the kids

up until last week i was on the multimedia department amd got to see most things that came in before the general public, i had a week off and missed a gold drill sergeant which my supervisor bought just because he knew i would want it, i found a clear cynder on the pegs at exeter tesco yesterday, so grabbed that one, now all i need is a clear wham shell and a glowing warnado and ive got all of the new variants

Then you won't believe that there's a cardboard box of six fresh from the factory, very cheap too. However, this is only on eBay.

As for the Dark Spyro model being only for 3DS (until today!), I'd be urinated off too. Though it does help a lot of people get exactly what they want instead of having to buy the 3DS game.
