Just to add:
I'm doing Earthen Avenger right now and it's better than some of you make it appear.
It's a fashionable path. The Arm plates look pretty cool. Also, I forgot to mention that even against those who constantly set the Stonefist traps melee characters have ZERO CHANCES AGAINST THIS PATH, bar those with projectiles, simply because everytime they try to go through, they'll be smashed.Repeat it and you're a goner. When I try GBM i'll give my respective opinion.Ciao

OK, so you were right about GBM.
BUT, you were still really pessimist towards Earthen Avenger. Also, here's a trick I use alot:Fire 2 Boomerangs, then quicky use the shield. You have 4 Boomerangs in the air ready to damage who/whatever they touch.

There's like 4 Basic upgrades that each character has, and then the next time you talk to Persephone, she'll let you choose which path you want to go down.

Opinion is preferring Blademaster. You're allowed to do that. It's a free world, and a free game. If you don't want to use Soul of the Flame, nobody can make you. Fact is stating that Soul of the Flame is the superior of Ignitor's two paths, because it is. It does more damage, shields you from more damage, travels faster, and performs better in every possible mode of play in Skylanders, in every way that it is possible to perform. Yes, even at close range, flame mortars do about triple the damage of sword swings. If you've tried both and would still contend I'm mistaken to say SotF is the way to go, I don't know how else to explain it to you. You're just wrong. |

That is where you are wrong, ignitor is my favorite character, thus i have ressted him a zillion times, trying to like that awesome sword he has there. However blademaster seems to not hit enemies most of the time for some reason, and by the time you perform a combo,an enemy will hit you.On the other hand, soul of the flame gives an AMAZING skylander, being among the best.Throwing the mortar itself does around 80 damage then, control the flame soul and finish it off with an incenarate.Presto,K.O.Anywho my point is that, you just can't say blademaster ignitor is better, sure it may be fun,but a vampiric warrior chop chop would probably kill ignitor... |

For Sunburn, Flame Lord is a beast-all parts of the teleport do 24 damage, making him very powerful in both PVP and story mode. Blaze Dragon makes you move slower, and takes ages to charge up.
I'm sorry for being pessimistic about Earthern Avenger, but you should try Grand Boomerang Master. It really is better. I play a lot of PVP with Grand Boomerang Master, and I barely use the Stonefist traps, since the boomerangs are more powerful. But, it is a matter of opinion.

Well, because it already has two attacks to boost its movement speed: Phoenix Dash, the third attack and, to a lesser extent, Immolation Teleportation, the second attack. Hope that answers your question

Already did, liked both.
I'm mostly the kind of player that uses all its arsenal as much as chance lets me, so, I guess that led me to like the Stonefist Traps when I saw that 28 pop up.The shield is also good, with a Staggering 40 damage per hit+A projectile-refletive property. The boomerangs themselves...meh, I'd rather go for the traps.

Fair enough I suppose. Also, Sunburn can't fly because then he would be able to walk over lava and water in game, and a skylander isn't able to do that. The phoenix dash is quite a powerful move-54 damage down Flame Lord when fully maxed(including the explosion. But, it isn't really as good a speed move as say Stealth Elf's Arboreal Acrobatics, since the explosion means you have to rest for a few seconds.

If Sunburn was able to fly, then he would be able to go over water-and that would mean he can go over both water and lava. Any flying skylander can go over water-but not lava. Only fire skylanders can go over lava. No other skylander therefore can go over lava and water. At least, that's my opinion on it.

I think that depends heavily on whether you felt stronger about the Teleportation(which is where I cast my vote) or the flame breath(...meh, I'd rather laugh at their faces whilr they can't hit me but I can ravage them, but, your call, amigo)The flame breath can be used infinitely in its path and the teleportation will stop leaving pathces and start leaving trails of flame in its own path.
That's...pretty much it I guess. But you bet I'm gonna start her out on Flame Lord

I think Camo is good on both paths anyway:
-On one, you ultimately end up with a delayable, 60 damage dealing melon fortress. -On the other, two horrendly annoying Firecracker Vines that won't let anyone anyone, except maybe Pulver Bash, Terrafin, Ghost Roaster, and Megadozer Drill Sergeant approach you head on.Also, the Sun Blast is quite powerful for the fire rate it attains.

Best path for camo, and opinions on best path for warnado I can't make up my mind. I like the idea of the baby's, but how like the tornados also. Please help I already reset him 3 times
|
Tashiji Yellow Sparx Gems: 1453 |
#985 Posted: 03:05:41 19/05/2012
Definitely Eye of the Storm on Warnado. Upgraded tornadoes only do 40, which is 15 more than standard. On top of that, the two control bonuses (you control, and the tornado seeks enemies on its own) are redundant. Also, you lose out on basically everything BUT the tornado attack, which isn't that great to begin with, leaving him one of the absolute most one-dimensional characters in the game as Wind Master. Eye of the Storm has versatility on his side, he can deal damage in multiple ways, he travels faster, and only really loses out on 15 damage per tornado in the tradeoff. It's a lot better.
As for Camo, there's no right or wrong answer. Use the one you like. I favor Vine Virtuoso, but the next person can give you an equally well-reasoned argument for Melon Master. |

One of the most hardest paths to choose for a skylander is sunburn. I have tried both and I keep on resetting him. which is better? epic everlasting flame breath or the extremely versatile teleportation that that is epic in PVP. I just cannot choose!

Yep, Flame Lord is one of my favourite builds of all skylanders. I haven't tried Blaze Dragon yet, and I probably won't because Flame Lord is so damn good. Every single part does 24 damage, and combined with the fact that he is almost impossible to hit close up, he is a very good counter to melee attackers, like Bash and Voodood. Not as good against ranged attackers, but he has a better chance than blaze dragon because it slows you down. I can see that blaze dragon can do lot of damage, but the range is poor and the flame breath slows you down.

Just got Ignitor and Bash!
From what I can tell, both of Bash's paths make him good, though the 240 hit in Granite Dragon just makes him depressing to play with. IMO, Pulver Dragon is also good, since he can roll through attacks. I'm not saying Granite Dragon is bad, I'm just saying that Pulver Dragon is more fun to use. I am aware that the tail attack is plain stronger, but honestly, Bash is just too slow. As for , definitely SotF. Landing Blast does 50, subsequent hits while on ground(and believe me, there are A LOT of them) deal 18, and if you decide to, the final blast deals 36 damage. That's just monstrous. I can honestly say that...Soul of the Flame is a superb path.I still find myself using the sword quite a bit, so Battlemaster is also a good choice, I guess...at least you don't lose control of the soul attack. But still...meh.

Vine Virtuoso does sound seriously good...I mean, you fire TWO of them, plus that path offers an upgrades to the number of possible hits, and another one in damage.
Melon Master is plain more defensive...I mean, more melons, higher damage, and being able to use the melons for actual defensive purposes. he's a good character overall(or so I think).I'll check back on Friday if one of my brothers gets Camo.I'll borrow it and post whatever my little "research" might bring up.Ciao.If not, I'll just check in to post.lol
