Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forums and I haven't seen this anywhere so I thought it would be helpful. As of Thursday this week I now have all 32 Skylanders, but I have discovered this glitch ever since I bought Lightning Rod. Once you play through Lightning Rod's heroic challenge, Fight, Teleport, Fight Some More the mask that is supposed to be at the end of the challenge in order for you to successfully pass it is not there. I've tried with almost every Skylander and the result is always the same. I had achieved 100% completion in my save game a while ago, but I wanted all the Skylanders and all the achievements so I have been trying to do all of that.

The only solution I have found by googling this problem, is that in order to unlock this heroic challenge so that the mask appears at the end, is to create a new save game, do the first 2 levels so that you rescue Cali in order to do the heroic challenges, then use Lightning Rod to unlock his challenge, have him pass the level, then use another Skylander, pass the level with it, then put Lightning Rod back on the portal, have him lose, then choose another Skylander when you get asked after he fails if you would like to use a different one, pass it with that one, then put Lightning Rod back on, have him fail again, put another Skylander on, etc, 32 times... It has been rather frustrating but I'm almost done. By doing this, your regular game will list this heroic challenge as complete by the Skylanders you have used in the fresh saved game.

I guess I could have just started again from scratch, but I've spent several hours getting 3 stars in all the levels, and levelling up all my Skylanders....

quick question, you say you got 3 stars on every level, is that including dragon's peak?
cuz i got this glitch where, everytime i finish the level it will have all green check marks filled, but when i go to the menu afterwards it will only show 2 of the 3 stars filled in.
im on the 360 to by the way.

This glitch has been known for a while.
Not only is it on the Xbox 360 version, but also the PS3 version.

An easier way is to have only Lightning Rod registered in your save, instead of having him repeatidly fail.

Yeah you're right, I have completed everything to get the 3 stars in dragons peak, and i only have 2 stars on the menu...

Maybe you can start a new file up to Chapter 2 like others mentioned and then do Lightning Rod's challenge with every Skylanders you need, since Heroics are stored on each Skylanders.

Let's get all the facts for this LR glitch.

When is the best time to complete the challenge?
Does the glitch kick in after a certain level?

the way i managed to complete lightning rod's heroic challenge is by saving him on the 100% completion game and the restarting him on a different saved game. i was able to complete it by doing it this way.

That's what I've done, I've completed it with all of them
