Yeah, same here and that's why I never listen to these music tracks on my MP3 player. I think where everything gets dark started in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and then progressed to Super Paper Mario. Peach getting possessed by the Shadow Queen sure is... uh... creepy or disturbing, yet unexpected. I didn't expect that, the first time I've gotten that far in the game.

I may be alone on this, but I've always found the Forest Temple theme from Ocarina of Time really eerie.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky - Dark Crater Pit

This theme terrified me when I was younger (the chanting, to be more specific). It was made worse with how often my poor Grass-type got destroyed in the level.

In my opinion, this is the scariest music in Crash Bandicoot.

The cave\dungeon music in Dragon Quest 9. Also the music for the sad themes.

I gotta agree with you. The World of Nothing from Super Paper Mario is also disturbingly creepy.

Tales of Graces - Cavern of the Giant Beast

Not horrifying, just peculiar, maybe sad, and makes me think something is watching me.

I find Lavender Town music disturbing, but then I read an excessive amount of Lavender Town creepypasta. I especially find the original version of the song disturbing which has that high pitched melody part that occasionally cuts in.

Probably more disturbing when you know the background of the character. That, and I had a fever once where I was at the point of hallucinating, and all that was playing in my head was the first ten seconds of this on a loop for about two hours straight.

^I can't properly comment on that theme as I don't know the character's background, but I can see it being disturbing when it's all you hear in such a condition......

I found the Valhalla the most disturbing part of the game. While I find the first theme rather epic in a dark, menacing way, the second theme perfectly embodies the situation: You're all alone, on a wrecked spaceship with dead bodies everywhere, and creatures that want to kill you. But no pressure or anything.

Oh, and the Valhalla violently shakes at random points in the game.

Not a song, but I find the sound when you look at a Enderman in Minecraft 1.4.2 pretty creepy.

IDK, this one is kinda creepy to me.

The giygas theme from EarthBound/Mother 2 is by far among the most eeries songs ever.

^I once fell asleep listening to Giygas' theme. I had great dreams. That said, I've heard worse (though I still find it creepy).

FTL - Horror

This doesn't really scare me, but it is rather unsettling.

Another creepy song:

"Trail of Blood" it plays in FFVII - specifically in Shinra Building after Jenova is set loose and everyone is dead. It also plays in the ship, once more after Jenova kills everybody, also in the Cave of Gi in Cosmo Canyon.

The Witcher's soundtrack is pretty ominous at times.

I swear I hear Navi's line of 'LISTEN!' at some point, but that's likely just me going mad.

Toad Town in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. Not entirely creepy, but it is spooky! Seeing a destroyed town and seeing no survivors but two ol' grannies. Quite sad it is actually.
