I would say that the golds r rarer than toy fair as far less gold were made than toy fair and I think they have stopped production of the m now

I think all variants are going to drop in price bigtime. I bet these don't go for much.

Exactly. This has been obvious to us all for years.
People will say things like that in order to keep and snag the interest of potential buyers. you slap "RARE" on something and your good to go. Sad really but, meh.

Personally I would never pay that much for a variant....they are kinda ugly to me to be honest :/

I do believe that golds are no longer made.

However, I reckon that more were made than Toy Fair exclusives were - so the latter are rarer.

Claiming something is "Rare" doesn't really mean much.

I could put up an advertisement for an "Ultra Rare, One-Of-A-Kind Wrecking Ball, featuring unique in-box extra content," and all I'd be referring to is the fact that it contained a unique 10-digit ID code in the box.

You learn early on how people can spin words to their own advantage.
