At the moment it seems like only three of the eight elements have specific elemental advantages. Earth can break rocks without the mining pick, and Prism Break can even destroy the purple tso crystals. The water group can swim, which isn't an amazing advantage considering all of the flying and water-walking skylanders, yet still decent. Fire can walk on fire/lava which in most cases is only accessible through a fire gate, again not amazing, but still an advantage.
My point for this post is that I think it would be cool to see more advantages from all of the elements. Now wouldn't it be cool if tech could blow up the bomb walls, well Boomer specifically has that advantage, but hey if they could all do it that would be awesome. Undead could maybe come back to life if they die, pve only of course. Flying wouldn't be much of an advantage for the air group but what if they could use updrafts to get over the small cliffs/falls in the game that once you pass you can't get back or even cross small gaps. Life characters could have healing, pve only, similar to Stealth Elf, hers of course would be greater with her Soul Gem. Lastly is magic, which at the moment I haven't decided on a good advantage.
What do you guys think would that be feasible or pointless?

I do like this idea, though I can't think of a bonus for Magic either for the life of me.

For magic they could have a mystic energy around them, and when an opponent gets to close it shocks them.

Magic should be able to move blocks and stuff around without having to physically push them (like the turtles for instance)
