OK, so I have finally completed 100% and have every Accolade except the last one titled "Grand Admiral" with a description of "Requires earning ALL Portal Master Accolades". Which, I have done. Except it has not given me this Accolade. Has anyone received this on the PS3? If so, what is needed to accomplish this? Or is it glitched?

That happens to ps3 and xbox 360 versions.

Looks like it's glitched on both the PS3 and 360 versions. Kinda sucks, but I'm guessing they'll probably release a patch for you guys.

I read somewhere that it was because on the PS3/360 versions, although they coded the "collect all hats" accolade correctly by itself, one of the "checks" it does to unlock the Grand Admiral Accolade is to confirm that you have every possible hat in the game.

And since there is one exclusive hat to each version, there's no way to get ALL the hats under one roof and thus no way to pass that check.

Not sure if that actually IS the true reason, but it's probably something similar to that. Why they didn't just make the check something simple like "if all other accolades are unlocked, unlock this one" is beyond me. (Or maybe they did THAT and included the Grand Admiral Accolade as one that needed to be unlocked before you could unlock the Grand Admiral Accolade! Heh.)

yeah, something tells me that they will never fix the bugs in the game... they still haven't fixed the trophy issue for fully upgrading a skylander, and they still haven't fixed Lightning Rod's heroic challenge...

I am not even close to having all the accolades.

there wont be ANY patches for the first skylander game. if we are super lucky, they might release some "game of the year" or a double pack release with giants. but i doubt that highly.

Patches are surprisingly expensive, especially where Microsoft is concerned. It's at least $10,000 for a company to get a "forced patch" into a game. (This is often waived for "day one" patches on big name, large volume of sales games, which explains why so many games get released with issues and have a patch waiting before you even play it for the first time.)

Skylanders would only have received a patch if there was some critical, game-breaking flaw, like for instance if Wham-Shell wasn't detected by the Portal of Power. And at that point, they'd have been able to patch all the "annoying but not crippling" errors because they had to pay for a patch anyway.

Given how (to my knowledge) having that final accolade doesn't give you anything beyond bragging rights, that won't qualify as a repair worth $10,000 (and that's just for the 360 version!).

Ooh that sucks & blows..finally got whamshell today and got all but last one for my ps3..although my son was able to get it for his wii
