Eye of the Storm for Warnado. The mini-warnados that you can shoot, home in on enemies. The ground pound does a nice chunk of damage.

Thanks, I picked that path. I was sad as warnado seemed very underpowered in the early stages. He was my favorite skylander since the game came out, I've wanted him since when they first came out. He is the now one of my favorite characters.

No prob.

Captain Crustacean is the best path for Wham Shell.

Man, I really need to get to doing some videos on these guys.

Actually..to those who have Camo/Warnado on the Wii..what paths do you recommend? I saw a few posts from people mentioning some attacks of theirs are nerfed on the Wii, so I'm kind of hesitant to go with the paths I originally wanted; Melon Master and Eye of the Storm.

EDIT: Note that I don't play in PvP at all. I'm just looking for the path that's fun, and does some nice damage.

If you have doubts for smilie, follow the logic that is presented:
-If your style is more like range, go for Lightning Lord
-If, otherwise, you prefer to go melee, go for Typhoon Titan.
Follow this logic, and you won't regret it(well, maybe you will regret Typhoon Titan, because, as 2 out of 3 of his attacks show, he's an excellent ranged character).
Also, as I said earlier, he's actually very good in a range as big as the distance is lightning crash can go.I mean, right?
Seriouly, about 12 ticks of 26 damage each with the chance of 39 is sick. And destructive.Plus it's not confined to a single spot. The crash site is a moving circle about the size of a football. It's pretty big for this attack's caliber. If, otherwise, your foe is inevitably closing and is already at a lethal distance, Zapper Field is there with 6 ticks of 18 damage. If your foe is at mid range, Lightning bolts are usable with 23 damage after the harpoon effect is applied, and with an average fire rate.

Yeah, I also have it for wii. I don't know about camo, but eye of the storm
is a very powerful path for warnado. Don't even bother with the other path it makes him a one trick pony, and not even a good one at that.

Nope. Honestly, both paths are pretty good for Terrafin, Sandhog moreso in PvP from what I hear. I chose Brawler and switched him, but both do nice amounts of damage. He's like a freight train.

From what I heard in this topic, Sandhog makes him a God in PvP, as well as a good Skylander to beat to speed run part of the levels.
Also from what I heard, Brawler is a beast as well.
So, basically, you get the choice between a 9.5/10 path and a 8/10 path.Just choose which one suits your style best.
It's like choosing between a near perfect path and a 8.5/10 path.
Yeah, he is that good.

For PVP, I would have to say no. UNLESS, the starfish bullets home in on your foe and stick to them like they do in single player. Then it may be decent at best. Wham Shell down his Captain Crustacean path, allows him to be a closed-quarters fighter and a ranged fighter at the same time. He can span Poseidon Strike, which has ranged spikes come out of the ground for good damage. If someone rushes in, Wham just goes to town with his mace.

Warnado: Eye of the Storm -- Wind Master is horiffically one-dimensional, boasting only two attacks, and the tornadoes, for all their fanfare, only do 40 damage as opposed to Eye of the Storm's 25. That isn't a big enough difference to pick a whole path for, especially since the tandem of 25-damage tornadoes, constant 15-damage mini-Warnado spam, and pounding the ground for 35 is going to be more damaging anyway. Warnado is a bit like Drill Sergeant, in that to use him effectively means using all of his attacks in tandem, but if you can, he's fairly strong.

Camo: It... actually doesn't matter. It depends on what you're going for. Melon Master is a very effective AoE attacker, and 60 per melon (PS360) is pretty potent in all actuality. If you think the best offense is a good defense, this is the path for you. However, if you'd rather take the fight to your foes, Vine Virtuoso can devour the entire screen, and is really quite effective at herding foes in PVP and outright slaughtering them in PVE. There's no bad path on Camo, and it's hard to say what's better at all to be honest. It depends on the situation. Although, on the Wii, due to a glitch in melon damage tabulation, you've got to go Vine Virtuoso.

Wham-Shell: Captain Crustacean -- Commander Crab is a build that's really hard to like. Charged starfish appear to do the same damage on both paths, and having 3 of them really doesn't make a world of difference when the attack is fundamentally flawed to begin with--it holds you still, ergo, is easy to dodge. The improved 50-damage Poseidon Strike, 30-damage mace strikes, and his C combo (60 damage AoE) are more than enough reason to concentrate on melee attacks with this character. His style is different enough from the other melee champions to actually set him apart a little as perhaps the game's best example of a mid-range melee character. It's not quite another case of "Well... why not just pick Stealth Elf?" like it was when Slam Bam was released.

My son found something cool to do with Melon Master.

You can turn Camo into a defensive fighter. If you surround yourself in melons, you can push whatever melons you want, when you want. My son was stating how that could be cool for PVP. Here's a scenario.

You surround yourself in melons. Your foe is one direction, you push melons and go out of the melon barrier on the opposite side of your foe. You can throw out a Firecracker Vine or some Sunbursts to hit your foe. Should your foe come anywhere near whatever melons are still sitting there, you let go of the B button (O on PS3, C on Wii) and let them eat 60-90 a hit.

Camo effectively create a shield that does massive damage if he wants. Or, one could create a 3-Starburst Shield arround Camo after surrounding yourself in melons, making Camo a bonafied fortress.

Oh, yeah. I've said it before, and I will it again. One can turn such a simplistic game like Skylanders, and make it full of strategy. Skylanders PVP has that hidden depth.

If one strategizes, they can come up with all kinds of cool ideas, in order to help any Skylanders' chances at winning.

Case in point. People can surround themselves in melons, but leave the barrier if they want. They don't have to, but in a strategic way, they can make it so it's beneficial to do so.

Do yourself a favor and pick Captain Crustacean. Building around the starfish with Commander Crab just isn't practical. They aren't damaging enough (they do the same damage as Captain Crustacean does with them, actually), their continuous damage while latched on is a lowly 2, and shooting 3 of them doesn't do much to make them more difficult to dodge. Captain Crustacean, on the other hand, is highly damaging (30 for melee strikes, 50 for Poseidons, and 60 for C Combos) and has surprisingly large range for a melee character. Additionally, as I said, your starfish do the same damage; the only difference is you just get one as opposed to three. Seriously though, one path is massively better than the other on Wham Shell, and that's Captain Crustacean.

Ok, I'm gonna help you.I'm testing his paths as I write.I'm testing Nut Crafter right now.I bought Meganut Propagation first.I was speechless.
After that upgrade, hit a Meganut with a Pulverize attack(I'm trying to use the real names), and 6 nuts spread with alarming speed and covering almost every angle while close.Combine that with Thornbark and you have a mob murderer.A side note, Meganuts will not go away with time.
Pollen Plume also works to kill mobs, since it makes Spiny Acoens trigger a medium explosion on impact. The last upgrade...shoots 2 Acorns...'Nuff said.
On to the other path.
Smash 'N' Bash is a path that focuses much, much more on melee(why do my fingers keep trying to type 'melle'?), with the welcome exception of Acorn Croquet, which basically can...uh...play croquet with it?By which I mean slam it away.
You have the spin combo and the charge combo, which is basically several smashes linked together and accelarated.I suppose Smash Meganut is a source of splash damage.
There you have it.Oh, the Soul Gem enables you to swim.
Hope it helped.
A question:I'm thinking of making a topic with my opinions on each Skylander's upgrade paths. What do you think of the idea?
