I play on the XBOX 360 and have all of the characters maxed out to level 10 with all the upgrades and Heroic Challenges. Now I picked up the 3ds version which I understand is completely different. My plan is to reset a couple of toys and start the 3ds version fresh. But here's what I'm not sure about:

1. What happens if I move toys that were fully maxed on the XBOX game over to the 3ds? Do they crossover to the 3ds fully intact at level 10 with all upgrades and heroic challenges? Will the 3ds version recognize all of this?

2. What about if you build a guy up on the 3ds version and then go over to XBOX?

3. Does the RF chip record the data separately for toys that move between the 3ds and all the other consoles? For example if I have a maxed Gill Grunt on the XBOX. If I play with him for a bit on the 3DS and then throw him back on the XBOX portal, will he still have all of Persephone's upgrades?

Basically I'm not sure if I should just dedicate certain guys to each version or if the transition between 3ds and all other consoles is seamless.

3ds version doesnt have upgrades, you just gain experience and level up. characters leveled up from another game will just be that level in the 3ds game. nothings lost between games.

So let's say if you build a guy up on the 3ds to level 10 and then cross him over to a xbox. He would then retain level 10 but you would have to purchase ALL of the upgrades. If that is the case then that clarifies everything.

3DS version has upgrades but you don't buy them, you level up to achieve them and yea, it's seamless I transition my characters from the 3DS to my PS3 and they still got all the upgrades and your Skylander will still be level 10.
