So that's pretty cool, looks like we'll finally be getting those mini characters that were posted before. Remember?



I kinda like their old names, so I hope they keep those. The Frito-lay promo is what's most interesting. Are they actually gonna advertise it? Are they going to have them at one chain, or any store that sells the chips? Are there specially marked ones for certain figures, or is it gonna be a random figure? (which would kind of suck, because you could end up getting multiples of one figure)

Although, the Trigger Happy display box is absolutely adorable. I'll take 8.

Apparently it's gonna be some sort of promo with Frito-lay. (kind of like the current one they're doing)

From the looks of their sheet in the link, they're going to have special displays with..I'd guess the big chip packs which will allow you to get a figure (probably mailing in)

Frito-Lay's are distributed as Walker's in the UK... but that's not to say we'll see this... we usually miss out on these things.

I haven't seen ANY of these Frito Lay Skylander bags anywhere near me in NYC. Of course the closest Walmart is like a half hour away... These had better pop up at stores like Target or BJs.

Those are only at Albertsons chain stores but to get a flocked Stump Smash without a bag call 1-800-646-2904, I won one!

Australia gets Lays chips but I can pretty much guarantee that we will also get stooged again and it won't be a promo here.

Oh, whatever. The whole "Europe gets screwed" argument officially died yesterday, when Nintendo said the Kid Icarus AR cards would be available in stores across the European continent. Us Americans got the shaft there, though if you haven't played Kid Icarus you don't understand why this is such a huge deal.

I am really excited for this and I hope i get might fin.

I personally believe that the names they mention in the release are a conscious misdirection - the names all imply being larger, rather than smaller.

This allows:

1/. Reference to the up-coming Giants sequel
2/. Comic surprise when the users find munchkin versions instead of larger-than-life ones.

in the wii game a guy whos name i dont remember discovered these as items.

6C = Item Pet Trigger Snappy
6E = Item Pet Whisper Elf
70 = Item Pet Gill Runt
72 = Item Pet Terrabite

so i bet they will be little magic items that act like those did. they didnt really do anything but follow you around and be cute. chibi skylanders! i could see this being another must have thing for collectors. (cuter than volcanic vaults at least)

The only one I'd care for out of those four is Terrabite.

They're so cute I'll have to have them, but I'm so tired of the crazy hunt! Never seen the Frito Lay bags for the flocked promotion. Don't have a car so I can't drive all over town hunting for them. Have missed Camo and Warnado every time they have been available online.

I started less than a month ago and I've already got collector's fatigue. Make it stop! Sell them in a set that I can order online or a reasonable price, so I can spend less time chasin and more time enjoying.

And to think I used to love potato chips! Now I almost cringe when I see them.

Greaaat more stuff to hunt for No really I heard about this earlier today, and while I'll try my hand at getting these I'm not going to break myself trying to do it.

Hahaha, I love the part of the picture where it says "Real Names TBD" ...hopefully they'll also be available for purchase in stores too because I think it may be difficult to find them if they're available only through Frito-Lay promotions since bags with FSS appears not to have had a wide distribution.

No, we Europeans still get screwed over. At least if you want to scan the AR cards, you can just look them up on a website. Sure, you don't have the physical card, but you can still reap the benefits. We can't scan over Skylander sidekicks off of the Internet.

And honestly, if that's the first time you've felt worse off than Europe, you should have tried being a gamer here up until a few years ago when we constantly got screwed over (and still do, although not to the extent we did).
