Skylander's facebook page has some new large art up of 3 of the Adventure Packs. It basically combines all their stock art into one, but it's pretty cool.

Although, it raises a bunch of questions. Are they actually gonna advertise it? Are they going to have them at one chain, or any store that sells the chips? Are there specially marked ones for certain figures, or is it gonna be a random figure? (which would kind of suck, because you could end up getting multiples of one figure)

Honestly, all they have to do is slap the word Skylanders onto anything and people would probably buy it.

No, they'll be in the packet. Have you never seen this done before? People used to do it all the time.

Imagine what the scene would look like if they where actually put into the bags. I see lots of opened bags on shelves and chips all over the floor by people who don't want to buy tons of chips or get doubles.

It's more cost effective for all involved to just put them in the bags. For one, no one pays shipping. Secondly, those who would be on the fence about a mail-in offer are more likely to buy chips if they know the figure is waiting for them inside, which equates to more bags clearing the shelves. I'm pretty sure the cost of shipping each individual toy alone more than offsets the heightened production costs of just sticking them in the bags. Sure, they may do a mail-in, but they'd make more money if they don't.

thats true but mailing them in would be slightly better like mentioned earlier people just opening up chip bags off the store shelves looking for the toys

Yes, but opened bags in store are no real concern for Frito Lay. At that point, the bags have already been sold to Walmart and other distributors, and the loss of revenue would be on them and their own security measures. By the time kids can actually do that, it's not Frito Lay's responsibility.

Since this topic is dying, Let the series of topics like this one rest in peace. Since we have the other game to talk about, let's talk about the other game instead. But if we have something new pop up for this game, just have another topic for it. Then again, I don't think that there will be something new for the game. Instead, I think that there will be new things on the other board name.
