Warnado sucks. This is the one Skylander that I was looking forward to the most and he just sucks so bad it hurts....and makes me cry a little. Down the spinner path his spin attack does hardly any damage and his Turtle Slam is a joke. Down the Tornado path it doesn't get much better. You can only have one tornado out at a time and they constantly bug out. They will get a few small mobs sucked up, remain on the screen and do nothing. I also feel like the directed tornado upgrade is basically a wasted ability slot since you don't really need to direct tornadoes if they can automatically seek a target. Plus the whole "enemy seeking tornadoes" don't always work. Why did they do this to my favorite Skylander???!!!!???? Dammit T.F.B. you suck for doing this...and making me wait until the end to find this out. I have respec'd him like 5 times down both paths trying to make it work but there are other Skylanders that are sooooo much better than the revered Warnado. I'm am a very sad panda. On a somewhat wave 5 related note Camo rocks though. I went down the Vine path and let me tell you he's a keeper. He can heal himself with three orbs up (in any spec. since it's his soulgem). The upgraded vines do a ton of damage, bounce off walls and actually seek a target. Camo was a pleasant surprise and I enjoy playing him a lot...unlike my greatest disappointment. Does anyone else feel underwhelmed by Warnado's performance?

Camo is one of those Skylanders you want two of. His vine path is good, but his Melon Master path rocks awesome.

See the upgraded melons do 60 damage in a wide spread area but you can't really direct them. The upgraded vine do 12 damage per tick and each vine has like 10-12 ticks so that's 100 plus damage per vine and there are two vines usually going in the same direction for like 200 damage plus!!!!...lol when they hit. Now since they are constantly moving that damage is spread out but I like the control and the fact that he can do it on the move until the melon fountain.

Actually... you might not be able to direct them, but they're so big they will hit nearby enemies multiple times for 60 a hit (90 crit).
My son showed me something cool. He made Camo surround himself with the melons, and he exited the back of the melons. Since his finger was still on the button, it was like it was a shield, and it got me thinking about doing that in PVP. You can walk out of that melon barrier, or push any melon forward while leaving some there. When some enemy or oponent gets close, BAM, let go of the button for massive damage.

Hmmmm, i actually really like warnado.
Just wait til the local trailer park gets a load of him! lol Oh, and picture this. Dorathy Gale looking out the window while her house is up in the twister. She hears evil laughter, sees the wicked witch on her broom. "Bwahahahaha"-CRUNCH! Her laughter is suddenly silenced by a huge spinning turtle. Dorathy stares in horror as the witch is swallowed whole. Warnado looks at Dorathy and gives a wink before dissapearing out of view. Lol, i just watched wizard of oz. |

Really? Camo is good in either path I simply prefer the vine path. While I can't make Warnado worth a damn no matter what path I pick....grrrr so frustrating. |

I quite like Warnado i think hes pretty cool i just wish that you could aim his mini warnados better because i would be facing off against a Lava Monster and he would be shooting out his little mini fire imps and the mini warnados would go in the opposite direction

Warnado's also a personal fave, of mines. Indeed, he isn't super-strong, but his attacks are pretty fast. He's more or less like the Air version of Trigger Happy, IMO, and that's good enough for me. And you gotta love his figurine. It's just hella epic-looking. Also, what I do for lava kings is send out tornadoes, and then do a slam.
To add, Melon Master path Camo, or just stop playing with him, 'cuz he's beast on that path.

Camo is obscenely well-done. Out of all of the characters, he really surprised me.
In saying that, the vines path appeal to me more than his fruit salad routine. Besides, he's not one I'm maining with. |

Camo and Warnado are pretty darn good. It's Sunburn that I am most disappointed in. He is way underpowered. His fire moves do too little damage. I have a second SB figure that I need to complete down the second path, but I am not holding my breath for a better outcome.

I would just love to know why his numbers are soooo low!!!! Wrecking Ball has a much higher damage output than War and that's unacceptable lol. Let's look at this another way. Warnado's Turtle Slam takes a few seconds to charge and he needs to be in flight. When it lands it does 35 damage to a wide area and launches a mini Warnado in all directions for 15 damage per Warnado so that's about 50 damage. Now let's look at Boomer and Wrecking Ball. Boomer, when taken down the slam path takes a few seconds to charge as well but does 100 damage and stuns what ever didn't die from the initial slam giving you enough time to finish it off with another charged slam. Wrecking Ball's Fart Blast attack takes slightly less time to charge up and does 40 damage while still being able to move....WTF!!!!! Why did they do this to my favorite Skylander.../cry.

I agree with Warnado. I've never played with him, but he doesn't look too good to me. Don't get me wrong, his model is one of my favorites. Not his attacks, though. And besides his useless teleportation skills, Sunburn is beast. I chose his firebreathing path.

If you want to get him, get him. It doesn't matter if they suck or not. Each one has their strengths and weaknesses. If you play them by their strengths they have a chance to beat anybody. I would give him anything between 4-6. Maybe even seven on a good day. |

Warnado's an easy 7+ in PvE. He's fast, does adequate damage, and has a big punch for larger targets with a lot of HP. He's sure better in Story than Camo, because he dashes and Camo waddles. Speed is everything in PvE.
PvP is kind of a different story, but he's still not bad. He may not be in the upper tiers, but I do think he's in the upper half. Compare a character like Warnado to some of the real losers out there, and there is a clear difference. |

See I find myself disagreeing with you....I usually agree with you s. Camo is a 98 speed after challenges so he has a high passive speed. While he has no dash he makes up for it in power. Warnado can bounce around the bad guys all day but will take a while to kill them. Camo can shoot off some vines, while shooting fire balls and if the target isn't dead by the time he get's there...then it's Melon Time!!!! Plus Camo can heal himself. Again I was a HUGE Warnado fan and I don't regret buying him I just regret them making him so weak. He was the Skylander that was going to get my namesake but that title went to Wham...it might change to Camo though...hmmmm. Warnado's game play style can be fun zooming around but the the tornadoes are less than reliable at taking out bad guys. I went the Shell path after I found out that the Tornado path was lacking. Lightning Rod is another disappointment but that's another thread. Go ahead and pick up War if you can find him and see how you like him. Also I base a lot on the last fight with Kaos and with War it's simply unbearable. |

lol yeah I've done those challanges...play the game from start to finish with Boomer (which is actually a power house) or Wrecking Ball....that's a challenge. I think Prism Break can be slightly challenging as well....those crystals can be his undoing. Zap is another underwhelming Skylander...cool concept and game play but lack luster damage and survivability. |

Yes, I agree with this... Except on PvE- he easily is an 8+ there, really shines and gets through everything fast. Although pretty much all of them but Chop Chop are... On a 1-10 in terms of PVP purely, I'll give him a 7.75. He really shines, but he takes a LOT of practice and patience. The best thing about Warnado is that you can launch tornadoes at literally any time- including during the Turtle Slam, making him a massive hazard threat who can easily both trap and keep away. If he did more damage, he would easily be a solid middle A Tier. |
