Or maybe it's because most people have enough sense to click the thing labeled HELP files when they have a question about the site. I miss the days when people posted on your profile when you joined, saying 'read the helpfiles'. They were nice...

That is because 95% of the forums have pretty standard help files coming with the board scripts which does not help. People who say that they are reading all the help files in all the forums they are using... well... I think nobody is doing this this.
