Haha, I did this myself, but only for the ~10 Skylanders I was highly interested in.

Great work!

I love what you've done. I've been looking all over for this. One thing to say, I think Flameslinger's arrow does more on the arrow path.

This is great! I was working on something like this though I've hardly got anywhere with it yet. I'm planning to do timings of attacks and base damage for the starting attacks and lower upgrades... but I doubt I'll ever get through all of them and I wasn't planning to buy every character so that would be somewhat of a hinderance lol

Thanks for making this list, very useful... though might I ask what version you used? I believe there are some differences between the PS360 version and the Wii one.

This is an excellent topic with some incredibly useful information.

A question though: Are these numbers for the Xbox/PS3/PC version or Wii version?

Damage numbers should remain constant throughout versions. The only notable exception to this I've seen is Camo's watermelon attack, which ignores one of its upgrades on Wii and stays at 30 damage as opposed to the 60 it has on PS360. Aside from that, they should all be the same. The main differences between versions are mechanical, such as amount of times you can hit with a single attack, how quickly damage ticks with a multi-hit attack, and whether or not an attack does damage in PVP at all.

This was done on the Wii version, and cross-checked to a certain degree on PS3, at least to the point where it started to become certain that it was going to be the same either way. I am in the middle of that, but feel what I've seen is sufficient basis for a list to be published right now.

Also, it now says Air Characters.

Will test to confirm homing sharks and arrows tonight.

Heroic Challenges do not influence attack damage, sadly. They only add to your critical chance, elemental power (where applicable), speed, and defense (your chance of blocking), but nothing for direct damage.

you should also include the damage of the side fireballs for spyro. On sheep burner the side ones do 15 damage.oh,and on blitz spyro,
the middle one does 15 damage while the corner ones do 12.

Awesome job, as always, Tashiji!

The next addition, to take the usefulness up another notch, would be to quantify the each damage in a "per attack" component. The Damage itself can be deceiving if one doesn't know the quantity and/or frequency of the damage; Stealth Elf's Knife Strike looks week compared to Chop Chop's Sword Slash.

Since there isn't a singular way to do this with the diverse skill sets, not to mention they aren't all black and white (How many Knives does Pook Blade Saint have anyways?), I suggest assuming a fully upgrad skylander ut the following suggestion while trying to keep it simple:

- Fire Rate (Slow-Medium-Fast-Continuous)
- Quantity (One-Two-Three-Lots-AoE)
- Special Notes

Have to go ... will write more thoughts late

No, I'm pretty sure that it does do 28 damage. I'm surprised that harpooner does only four damage more-I would have thought it was much more than that. On another note, great job Tash. Really useful thread.

Tashiji, Do you think there should be any notations for special effects such as smilie's slow?

Quote:

Undead Defender

Sword Slash: 12
Combo A: 6
Shield Bash: 14
Charged Shield Release: 75
Bone Brambler: 17

The first time I saw Charged Shield go off it happened to crit for 112 dmg. I got excited thinking it was a regular hit...
Bone Brambler really should do a ton more damage, like 40.
EDIT: After reading the other damages, Bone Brambles should do 70 at least!

One thing you might think of adding is the number of ticks you can do. Wham-shell can take out a flameslinger with a direct connect of a full Trip A combo, and that's cause there is a crap load of ticks!!!

Really? I play on the Wii and it does 60 damage. However, when I got the upgrade, it did 30 damage, however you must take the skylander off the Portal and put it back on for it to register the damage boost.

How much HP does Camo's Orbiting Sun Sheild restore per tick? It maybe helpful to add the Health-restoring numbers and how often they go off. Wether it restores a good amount of health or not is the deciding factor over Zook...

Stealth Elf's scarecrows continuously hit for 13 damage until they explode (that's why I love them so).
And on Drill Sergeant's Auto Blaster, it's unlimited on the Megadozer path as opposed to the Battle Dozer.
