I've realized I have been quite the attacker towards a certain member of this forum, for quite some time. I still don't always agree with his attitude on these forums sometimes, but he is dedicated to his hobby of collecting, based on the amount he is willing to invest in the Skylanders franchise.

So Game, my bad. You are not the devil, or a scalper buying 40 of each Skylander and selling them for a ridiculous profit. (I got offered a Wham-Shell a few days ago for....$115. Unreal.) You're just a little crazy, and that's ok.

I don't have the time to trawl through the morass of messages but last time he stated when he had a set number of items in possession OR a set date went by, WHICHEVER was the earlier.

That date came and went like so many others.

Tis true. I am a douche... ONLY to people who have been a douche to me. So, when I lose 10-20 dollar bets every time the Thunder wins, when I say they won't to my son, I pay up asap. Why? Well, he's my son first off. Second, he doesn't come on forums actin' all disrespectful every chance he gets. Sad my 9 (10 next month) is more mature than 60% of the people here. Just my opinion, anyway.

Oh, yeah, going back a step (or three), being a rational adult means that I do examine my actions. It is not as if I spend hours in stasis considering it, it merely takes a fraction of a second for my brain to think it through. It is not Law and Order, merely a component of functioning as an adult and not some kind of man-child.

I know Monsinour thinks it's funny, and perhaps from him it is, but at this point he's got tens of people whose business it squarely is not hounding you too, and I may be among the most vocal about it, but I'm far from the only one who's sick to death of this garbage popping up in random threads. It's just $10. I'm nowhere near as financially well-off as you are, GM, and I still have $10 to throw away if I'm headstrong enough to make that bet in the first place. The whole thing is a waste of time, and I can't believe so many people are acting like they care, but it is what it is. If I'd have known how much space this was going to waste, I'd have PayPal'd Monsinour the $10 myself back in December to shut everybody up. Be adults, people. It's one thing to welch on a bet, but to seriously carry on for months, on a message board devoted to a children's video game, over a paltry $10 that doesn't matter in the least to begin with, makes me seriously question who the real grown-ups are on this forum.

Yeah, well I told him awhile back if he kept bugging me (I was sick at the time), I would welch. Sure enough, he kept badgering me on posts, on Skylanders Proboards, and in PM's here.

However, I decided if he wanted to act like a child, so be it. I would still pay him. Then he started his stupid blind attacks. I don't respect anyone who acts that stupid in life. So, I held back, because of his aparent childish tendencies.

Then I said I would after I got my 5 Whams. Got 2 yesterday and my other 3 today. So, he can have his money as soon as he sends me his Paypal addy. Don't know why I would pay such a disrespectful person, even if it meant losing a bit of my integrity, but I guess I am.

GM, being the bigger person takes a lot of integrity. I don't see how you're losing any. You're out $10, but if you pay him and silence this nonsense, you'll have my personal thanks and that of many others for putting the whole thing to bed. He's not going to drop it, and neither is anyone else, so really, you're the only one with any power to end this. Trust me, you're not losing anyone's respect for paying him off. A bet's a bet, even if it's with somebody you dislike, and I believe I speak for more than just myself when I say that people understand this. He didn't just decide to extort $10 from you, and you do owe him the money, but at the end of the day, you can't view it as a loss of anything more than a couple bucks.
