The neighbour I hunt Skylanders with has just come back from Poland with Dragon's Peak and only didn't get one for me because she knew about my pre-order :'( *impatient grumble*

^What? I mean, even preorders aren't the most reliable of things at times... Yes, if it has a definite date then you WILL get it, but for something like these?

Still not got an estimated ship date for any of the triple packs I have on pre-order at Amazon - SE/SB/WB, LR/Z/C, DT/W/DS :-( Haven't got a Tesco particularly near by. Our local Sainsbury store had some singles in stock but £9.99 felt a bit steep for retail!

I'm going to take that we still haven't seen Dragon's Peak here (else I'd assume everyone would be exciting over it!). I would be tempted to make a special trip to a Toys R Us for one, but I wouldn't want to chance it until I know for sure they're out there.

Just to give you guys the heads up, the Tesco near me had aload of singles in of Zook, Lighting Rod, Stealf Elf, Bash and they finally got the single packs of Ignight (not sure if spealt right lol) in. So maybe worth trying your local Tescos

Still not sure about tescos never saw any skylanders there since the game launched.

Thats weird coz as ive said in an older post my local Tesco tends to have them in most of the time. I mean it was thanks to them ive been able to get Cynda, Double Trouble and EOI. Saying that though I guess not all Tescos have as many Skylanders as others.

What tesco do you go to? Cuz I go to the Carlisle tescos

I think some of the smaller Tesco branches don't get the figures in. We have two Tesco shops near where I live - a huge, two-floor store which has shelves which used to house Skylanders, and one that has no Skylanders at all.

Yah the one by me is a massive store and they somtimes have stands full of Skylanders like yestaday.

It has to be a Tesco EXTRA to have Skylanders, otherwise they aren't big enough to stock 'em. I don't think regular Tescos even have that much in the way of an entertainment section to begin with?

Yah mine is a Tesco Extra luckly for me as like i said in other post, they have been the only place ive been able to get most of my Skylanders from.

That would explain things. The nearest Tesco to me is a Tesco Extra, and the one a bit further out is just plain Tesco.

It seems as though we have got Zook and Lightning Rod, while the rest of Europe got Dragons Peak. Much like how the US got Camo and Warnado and Australia got Wham-Shell.

We'll eventually get it, it was due in March, but has slipped into April. Once it's in the shops there will be a big excitement on this thread, but until then hold tight and keep trying

Unless I get any as gifts or I have some spare cash I've got every Skylander that are my faves

I'm actually considering getting an iPad. Many reasons but at least I'd be able to play that new IOS skylanders game

It also works on an iPod touch (that's what I have). Make sure you hold onto all your web codes as they can be used in Sky Patrol too. The only downside to Sky Patrol is it uses 3D graphics which drain my iPod Touch's battery

Yah i noticed it uses alot of battery but then so do most of the apps, and in fairness the game is pretty good lol

Yeah people are trying to talk me out of the iPad and I guess an ipod touch wouldn't be too bad. I have a 6 year old 30gb ipod which works just fine, would need the £250 32gb model if I were to replace it. I'm really unsure though =/

^Look, you want an iPad, you get an iPad. I've got a iTouch and an iPad and I find the iPad MUCH easier to play, due to the larger screen - even if at times it can be slightly more difficult to hold(although my fingers don't end up getting in the way of what I'm playing, again, larger screen). You just go with whichever one you prefer, yes the battery thing is a problem, but then so many things use battery power that you can't really complain too much, just make sure you charge it on a daily basis...

Got my Camo and Warnado in the post today from my American friend; only need to get Wham Shell and Dragon's Peak now (the latter of which I hope to hear about soon!), and then all sorted until Giants.

Sky Patrol's a pretty decent little game, but I wouldn't get an iDevice just to play it.

My husband just got a an iPad so I can advise on some of the good and bad things

• It's large screen makes it easier to type and makes watching movies/Youtube clips more enjoyable. Large screen also makes it, well large, you will need a protective pouch, special screen cover to protect it.
  
• It will only charge by plugging into the wall, not the computer and only using the plug adaptor it is supplied with
  
• It can be used straight out of the box, and can update it's self using your wireless internet
  
• The majority of iPod games will work on it, and can be doubled in size, but this can cause the graphics to be streched. Like playing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl on a DSi XL
  
• The iPad can go online anywhere using a special SIM card, does require you to get a SIM contract or something, I'm not certain on the details of this.
  

I will point out that I've only tried it for about 40 minutes as he as it while he is away with work.

The iPod/iPhone are pretty much the same thing with the major exception being the iPhone makes phone calls and the iPod needs to find a wi-fi hotspot before it can go on wi-fi.

Today's hunt target is Dragon's Peak, putting it up here so I don't have to type it many times :
I rang the Collier's Wood TRU today, they didn't have their delivery in, so I was advised to ring later. I did and was informed DP was not in today's delivery and was advised to try again on Friday.

Rang Old Kent Road. I don't know why I did as they share the same delivery truck with Collier's Wood, but thought it might help. Anyway, got through to the Multimedia Department and asked about DP. The guy made a note of the pack name and put me on hold. I was on hold for long enough to make a rough sketch of Sunburn in my notebook, so it must have been at least 2 minutes. The guy did come back and said he didn't have it, only Eoi and Pirate Seas. He hadn't heard of DP and said "it must be a new one".

Just when I thought Old Kent Road couldn't get any worse

Thanks for the advice on the iOS devices everyone. It is a lot of money and something I need to seriously think about.

Sadly my zook triple didnt arrive in the post today, hopefully tomorrow
