I'm still pretty new to the board so I don't know all the ropes yet and I'm hoping it's OK to post this request.

Is there anyone who doesn't need the Volcanic Vault pick one up for me? You keep the Skylanders, I pay you for time/trouble and shipping, maybe $5 to $10? I don't have a car and don't have any way to go from store to store looking for it, and I can't shop online since all I need is Camo/Warnado/Wham-Shell. I don't want to buy any duplicate figures.

I would really appreciate the help! I just figure there might be someone here who already has the vault but might want to pick up some figures this weekend.

I think they are aware. They just want someone to keep the skylanders and ship them the free vault.

Exactly! I checked BB.com and try only ship starter packs, not individual figures, triple packs, or adventure packs. I can't afford $50 for the Vault--that's almost twice the cheapest offerings on eBay.

I'm hoping there is a kind soul here. This is just one of those times that not having a car really sucks. Online shopping is great, but in-store only promotions are a real pain.

I went there today to get it. They had no figures for sale. What was I gonna buy?? Another starter pack?? They made me "purchase" the vault for $25 (it rang $50, and the had to override it to $25). They told me they expect an order tomorrow, but I can't go there again til Tuesday. They said I could "return" it, and purchase three figures to get it for free. I really don't feel like dealing with this mess. If they are gonna run a free w/ purchase promotion, they should have stock for sale!! I begged them to hold Camo, Warnado, and Wham Shell for me, if they happen to arrive. I doubt they will, but who knows! Good luck with that. The store I went to only had about 12-15 of the vaults, and so small with giant letters that say FREE. If I had my 6 year old with me that can read, he probably would have pocketed one, thinking he could take it for free!! Lol!

If they would ship singles or triple packs or adventure packs, I would buy a couple and just keep whatever duplicates I got, or even trade them in at GameStop. But it's ridiculous to expect folks to buy starter packs for twice the buy-in requirement for the GWP. Leaves a really sour taste in my mouth.

Seems like my only option is gonna be eBay.
