The grey and red robot down on the beach [CLOSED]

In skylands, there is a red and grey robot on the beach (not the blue and grey robot that makes the bombs) anyways, I don't remember using him and the entrance he opens at anytime during the game. And I have all the expansion packs, which it wasn't used in one of those either. Does anyone know what it's for, or remembering using it? This is the ps3 version by the way.

Use the oil can on him. I think the door he opens gives you a Winged Sapphire.

As I recall, I had to be a bit along in the game before using the oil on him actually opened the door. I think it worked after the tech chapters.

Yes, it does, didn't work on my Xbox 360 version until I got the Tech Source. I guess that makes sense considering that Robot IS Tech-related, as it is, well a Robot.

I have already beaten the game, I just been working on 100% completions and upgrading all my skylanders! And trying to get all the trophies on my ps3
