I just got it done with smilie but it was HARD unless you chose the Floral Path. Those rockets EVEN at basic level do too much range on the pots in that challenge on the WII. It is real hard without those cacti. I am letting everyone know now, DO THE FLORAL (CACTI PATH) or that speed challenge is good as lost for the WII version.

Or just use the Anvil Rain and then take it off when there are little enemies on screen. I used the Artilleyman path and It used it, I know it is cheap but it works.

Don't Use Anvil Rain on Zaps challenge because it doesn't work. It will break those vases.

Anvil Rain and Sparx both hone in on the trolls while avoiding collateral damage, and honestly, I suspect Ghost Swords do too, but since Sparx and Anvil Rain effectively carry you up to the end of the challenge anyway, I have not had occasion to try.

But I do agree. Everyone should pick Floral Defender. Phenomenal build, one of the best there is.

If you have adventure packs, use the location pieces (Darklight Crypt, Pirate Seas, Dragon's Peak, and Empire of Ice) They work like Anvil Rain and don't touch the vases or the paintings. If you have at least one location piece and anvil rain, the challenge becomes far easier and it's a walk in the park if you have three or four location pieces and Anvil Rain. The Time Twister (Hour glass from Darklight Crypt) and the Winged Boots (Dragon's Peak) are also pretty helpful if your running low on time.

Have a Wii U? My ID and Mii name is OpalOsprey. So why don't you add Mii smilie?

On the Wii, the anvil rain works wonders in the Double Trouble heroic challenge. The ghost pirate swords will not work in the Double Trouble challenge...they break vases and you lose too much time. Good luck!

Now, let's not go off topic! Create a topic on that if you want!

Also, I been having the same problem, only its not with zook.. Its boomer. It's almost impossible to beat it! All is attacks blow up and his troll smash has the same affect.

Just because everyone says it can't be done with certain Skylanders down certain paths, I am going to do it with those Skylanders on the Wii, WITHOUT Anvil Rain/Sparx.

I WILL DO IT!

I will then show everyone how.

I hate to ask, but are the Heroic Challenges exclusive to the Wii version? I've only got it on the Wii and the 3DS versions and ive never seen the challenges mentioned outside of the wii game. Sorry if this is an ancient question.

I had no problems finishing all the challenges (minus the last three, of corse) with Gill Grunt.

No, vinz. They are on every version of the game, minus 3DS. However, they are far easier on the 360/PS3/PC versions of the game (which are essentially the same game).

They say the Wii versions are tough, especially with max upgraded Skylanders. I will show them a thing or two *rolls up sleeves*... or come back crying. smilie

I'll have an extra box too, chaos, because he'll need it.

I just went through the "tough" challenges for our 7 new figures, and a few of them were really nasty, especially on Double Trouble's. My son has upgraded one or two times thus far, but they are by no means fully upgraded. Zook, for example, has the upgrade that gives his bazooka extra shrapnel damage, and I was destroying stuff all over the place. I happily use the Anvil Rain if a challenge is difficult. And if I am still running out of time, I use the Time Turner. I finished a few characters with less than 5 seconds remaining. One time I think I had less than 1 second left.

Drobot's was no problem with anybody, but I have heard that it's not quite as difficult on the Wii compared to the other consoles.

Zap's wasn't hard, either, except for Zook. Again, that collateral damage is brutal. But I still got through it on my first try without using the magic items.

The only other "tough" challenge is Stealth Elf's, and I don't consider that tough, so I haven't done those yet.

If you can get through Double Trouble's challenge on the Wii with every character fully upgraded, you will have earned your name.

I give you crap all the time, but I will be the first one to congratulate you if you can pull this off. I just don't see it happening.

Oh, trust me, boy. I am a gaming master. I kid you not. If the panzy-*** MLG didn't cater to the tons of crappy FPS games, I would show everyone there a thing or two on how to master gaming.

I don't boast, but I will boast about that.

I will get to work on it as soon as my Whams come in. I will record each Skylander down both paths, whoppin' that challenge's ***. Then I will be all like -

Well haven't shot it on video yet, as I want to confirm my strats before making videos showing people how to do it.

I can say this. I am using my max upgraded Zook down the Artilleryman, and I have managed to get 30/40 killed, without breaking paintings and destroying too many vases.

I told people, I can come up with tricks the likes people wouldn't think of.

I will shoot the video, once I hit 40/40. We know how hard it is with a Zook at lvl 1, how about with Zook fully upraded rockets that sends shrapnel everywhere? I am doing it, and I will show you all how shortly.

Thanks for the info. I guess I got the best version if the challenges are tougher on the Wii.

...and I hate the paintings just as much as everyone else. It was a huge pain to complete with a maxed out Gill Grunt.
