Is there a way to check what Skylanders sold the most? I think it'd be interesting to see the amount of units sold by character. I understand that may be difficult though considering the three packs/adventure packs, but those could be counted separately.

The sales figures will probably be very even across all characters since the shelves are always cleaned out at every store.

Arguably, I'd say that the Legendary 3 packs probably sold the most, since they always seemed to be out of stock. For singles, today was the first time I actually saw a Cynder single pack in a store.

It's hard to know really though because there seems to be different print amounts for each figure. Like new ones have a small one until they print more, which makes it go up. Ones that used to be really popular are now sitting on the shelves because everyone has them all now.

I think it would be interesting to know but because of the wave system it would be hard to judge the true popularity of characters... a lot of people who didn't want all of them will have bought wave 1 and 2 Skylanders to complete their element collections. And older characters have reached a higher level of market penetration due to being available longer.

I expect in general the dragons will be doing well in popularity.

Yeah I expect the dragons to do the best, with everything else pretty even across the board. With the very young audience they don't care which ones they get, they just want some!

I hope Activision is watching this metric though to help prepare for Giants.

I dont think you should look at fixed numbers since some are being sold more at shops cause they arent exclusive to one shop.

%wise the legendaries would come on top, excluding adventure packages the Drobot,flameslinger and stump smash package seems like a wanted one, i checked some websites who count stock and every time i see this one restocked its almost sold out in 3 days again.

although it has been getting better, mostly because every place is getting flooded with wave 3, and anyone who wants wave 3 already has it by now.

^ Exactly....I think they are all selling good! Stores shelves are empty after a day or so of a delivery! Even poor Boomer gets picked up.....eventually!
Unless we knew how many of each character they are making, very hard to figure this out!

The started pack with Spyro, Gill and Trigger Happy would probably be the best sllers!

Boomer is underrated I guess. on the 3DS he rolls trough most levels without a problem.

That is so true. I've rarely see him on the shelves.

Personally I think boomer and cynder have done the best.

They're all probably equal at this point. It's not like any of them, even Boomer, pollute the shelves for long. I think this all boils down to who has been the most produced character in the line, and my guess for that one would be Eruptor. He's been a part of pretty much every assortment since the dawn of the game, more so than even Boomer, and although he doesn't sell immediately, these things all sell.

In any case, it would need to be a Wave One character that received wide distribution from the get-go. Eruptor and Boomer have been continuously produced since October, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if it were either of those two. It's definitely not any of the characters released after the initial wave, any of the adventure pack characters, or any that have seen a lapse in single pack production (Chop Chop, Stealth Elf, etc.) but were released again later.
