Our household is particularly anxious for these two characters. For those of you that have been lucky enough to snag them. What is your opinion so far of their playability? Any glaring strengths or weaknesses? What about paths or PVP predictions?

Got Camo and Warnado yesterday. My son took Camo and I kept Warnado.

Camo:
From watching him play Camo I can say that he is a ranged attacker with vines and melons that can take out an enemy from a distance. Not sure what upgrade path he took but he can shoot out a combination vine/exploding melon attack that can hit a large group in front. He can also tunnel underground and resurface while sending melons in different directions. Great help if you get surrounded. His normal attack can go a pretty good distance too. Seems like a good, solid character from what I can tell.

Warnado:
As for me and Warnado, I am loving him so far. He moves slow at first (turtles, go figure) but his spin attack makes up for that. By continually spinning he can move as fast (if not faster) that any other Skylander I have played. However his spin attack can also have a disadvantage as it can send you farther then you may actually want to go. But with practice this doesn't become an issue. His tornado attack can capture and spin enemies while they do damage. He also has a decent armor stat so that would be a plus in PvP. Still haven't fully upgraded him yet so I'm sure he has more to offer once he's maxed out. All in all I think he's great. Having alot of fun with him. So far he is my #2 Skylander after Stealth Elf.

Is it true he can fly?
If he can then Sunburn is truly retarded as a tortoise can fly and he can't -.-

He can spin through the air and cover a good distance. He doesn't actually lift up any higher, he just shoots across the playfield for a second. There could be a later upgrade for flying that I haven't gotten yet, but I doubt it.

EDIT: It turns out that he can fly. Just went and got his flying upgrade. He tucks himself in his shell and lifts up and spins around in one of his tornados.

I plan on doing videos of ALL Skylanders down both upgrade paths. As of now, I will offer some insight, based on their first upgrade paths.

Camo going down his first upgrade path, deals with his Firecracker Vines. I am impressed with this character. While he has a projectile, none of his upgrade paths go to upgrading it (for once). The vines become very powerful, as you eventually get the means to unleash two vines at once, that can bounce around depending on which way you launch them, while also putting more explosive fruit on the vine. At range, the vines alone can do massive damage to a group of enemies, because the fruits get plentiful enough, that when they explode, each exploding fruit does around 12 damage.

Then he gets the ability to burrow under the ground, and kick about 5 Watermelons at enemies, which does 30 damage a hit.

What really gets me about Camo, is his cool Soul Gem. Press and hold A, and he will shoot his projectile, plus a small projectile will start swirling around him. Let go of A, and it will stay circling around him. You can do this up to three times, for a total of three projectile shields swirling him. You can then still shoot your projectile, do his Firecracker Vines, or do the burrowing. This makes him a good mix of offense and defense.

Warnado, down this first path, deals with upgrades to his Tornado flying. He gets the ability to do a body slam, while hovering in his tornado, plus 5-6 mini Warnados circle the funnel, which you can press A to launch as projectiles. What makes it cool, is you can almost create a combo out of it. Shoot Warnados, which do about 15 damage a hit, followed by a body slam for 30+ and you got a pretty devestating attack.

His Soul Gem just gives him extra spike armor on his shell.

I am about to level the second set down the second path and will report back with those.

Wow. After seeing the vids I think all 3 characters are amazing. I wonder if either of them are powerful enough to dethrone Stealth Elf in PVP. Still no sightings in Canada though so will have to be patient.

don't expect logic from flying fans. after all they like skylanders with only 2 attacks

no. wham shell will be killed like other meele characters. warnado... i can't even see how he can try to fight with stealth elf. camo may damage her at distance, but at close range he will loose.
camo seems strong, but he's also disappointing. firecracker vines doesn't knock back and melon fountain can be easily intterrupted...

Logic? Well, my logic is simple. Flight isn't as bad as you may think and logically, a dragon phoenix hybrid shown own the sky. Not be stranded on the ground. Warnado is a tortoise .... and he flies. Also. 2 attacks are easier to think about in choosing a path, because each attack gets stronger then the path with two attacks on it. So please if you think 3 attacks are better, come by and watch as I destroy you with only one attack as smilie (I don't count her babies as they are useless)

lol.
at least use a good example like drobot. and power=/=fun. i'm glad sunburn doesn't fly, because another "press Z, then spam A" character would be annoying. and even without flying sunburn has two good paths

My son and I were using Camo today and noticed that when you are using his soul gem move where you can press A (and hold it for a moment) up to three times to have three "projectile shields" swirling around him that each time they make a complete 360 degree rotation he gets a green +5 health bonus (much like Stealth Elf's continuous health bonus). It was even making the same sort of health bonus sound like SE's bonus. So when he gets low on health, pop out three of those, stand around for a bit and juice back up. Nice!

I noticed that GM78 did not mention that above. GM78 - did you see this bonus occur? Are you on PS3? I am on XB. Just wondering if it occurs on all platforms...
