Spyro using Magic to fly? [CLOSED]

I noticed something a while ago, and it made me curious. I noticed that Spyro has purple sparkles of the Magic element whenever he flies, and whenever he breathes fire, a ring of magical energy is also blasted out. Since he's a magical purple dragon, I thought he only uses this trait to harness the power of the other elements, but it seems that he also uses the Magic element to fly as well.

I noticed that.

It may just be there to show how magical he is, if he used magic for flight then I don't see why he would need to flap his wings or even have them.

I'm guessing that Magic aura/energy falls off of his wings when he flaps them (almost like a moth with "dust" on it's wings) so his body might be coated in magic energy.

Well in LoS he doesn't know how to fly and can only fly at certain points smilie

In EoD, Spyro is gifted with several elements at the start of the game, so him being magic makes sense.

By "ring of magical energy" do you mean the fire shield upgrade?

It's probably just the massive amount of Magic that Spyro is generating. It's a pretty cool subtle thing.

Noticeably, I found that Spyro's fire breath works on the Rotting Robbies as a regular fire attack would, which is cool. It'd be amazing if they had some sort of special moves and Spyro could harness the power of the other elements for a massive attack.
