No one has played him yet, that's what I'm saying

Actually this is not true... some people have cheated to unlock the unreleased characters... not me though so I still don't know for sure but there are people out there who have played Camo, at least one guy on this forum has admitted to have but I don't remember his name.

Mystery solved. It takes awesome computer skill.

But I'm pretty sure the glitch only changes appearance, the skills are all the same...

Pretty much this kid is full of ****.

^Huh... Thought it was just appearance.

Still don't believe the kid tho. Ask him what version he has, then we'll see...

It's easy if you have the wii version. Everything wii is hackable.

From my limited programming knowledge I imagine that creating an interface on the PC version that allows you to switch to characters you don't have would be, to quote Flynn, "CAKE!" though I have no idea how they would do it for the console aside from investing in expensive RFID equipment... it's probably possible though... but I imagine you'd have to use a hacked console to do it...

Again, this is all conjecture. But you at the end of the day it is all just code... and code can be hacked...

One thing I am certain of however is that for every thing that is invented there is a clever person will be able to reverse-engineer it to work outside of the manufacturers' parameters.

Edit: This was posted after I started making my post:

And yeah... this is true... I don't do it but I've seen that it can be done.

A lot of characters that seem good on paper don't turn out to be so great, descriptions and stats only go so far in telling how good a character is, even with videos and damage outputs it can still be hard to tell just how good or bad a Skylander is...

Do their moves have a setup time? Can it be interrupted? Does charging/setting up restric movement? How responsive are their controls? speed? turning circle?

I'm going to make up a pretend Skylander:

He's an awesome looking werewolf with Wolverine style claws.
His first attack is melee, fully upgraded it can hit multiple targets for 20 per hit and a combo attack that does 20, 20, 20, 50 damage.
His second attack is a charge/dash attack that knocks back enemies and causes 18 damage per hit, it also increases his speed to outrun any other Skylander (that isn't also dashing).
His special attack is a ranged attack with exploding projectiles that can be fired at a speed comparable with Drobot's lasers and do 16 damage each.
And his critical hit stat is one of the highest in the game.

Sounds great... but...

His speed is lower than Eruptor's and his hit points are low for a melee character.
His first (melee) attack is so slow that he can never get combo hits in without being interrrupted and because of his low speed any pvp oponent could get away before he's even hit them once. His combo makes him move forwards, often straight past whatever you were trying to hit.
His second (dash) attack is uncontrollable, only goes in a straight line and is interupted by being hit or by collision with any object.
His special (ranged) attack takes a second to set up, holds him in one place, is slow to aim and runs out of ammo after 8 shots (recharge takes 10 seconds) and the range of this attack is fairly low.
His Soul Gem gives him the ability to swim *yawn*.

He'd be an awful Skylander fit only to be a figurine on your shelf... maybe you'd bring him out sometimes in boss fights but even then only against enemies that didn't move much...

Wham shell is nothing like chop chop. The only thing thats the same is they have a weapon. Does that mean chop chop is just like ignitor?

except no. really 10 second recharge? you think wham shell will have such big drawbacks? i have seen some gameplay videos he's not very slow. also, even if he's weak, he'll still be fun because he is a versatile character and you can't say this is false.

Okay the 10 seconds thing is a bit much... but everything else I've said is something I have found to be true about one Skylander or another...

I doubt Wham Shell will be that bad... I was just specifically designing a bad imaginary Skylander there with (mostly) realistic drawbacks to show that sometimes something that sounds good can really be bad. I expected Wham-Shell to be good myself (though I don't like his look) but then I've not played him and that guy has so his opinion is more valid than mine right now.

My bad I Ment gill gunt with the star fish attack. He's not like chop chop except when he knocks back the foes reminds me of chop chops bone brambles. But back to wham shell, his mace isn't dat strong, and his crit hit isnt that strong. People that like fighting with chop chop, flame slinger, probably will like wham shell. Your see wat I mean when u play him ur self.

Uh-oh. I'm losing my Skylander resistance. I ended up buying a replacement Hex. I'm even tempted to get another Flameslinger. How is his arrow path? I tried starting the Pyromancer path but I wasn't liking what I was seeing. I never use that flame circle attack...

Slam Bam... In fact he's probably the only skylander whose design I dislike. It's purely because his face seems to be all mouth and it looks so darn odd.

Slam Bam is hideously ugly, but I amuse myself using the ice prisons. Wrecking Ball is similar, for me. Slow as an arthritic snail, tounge is ok, I DESPISE the roll attack, but being able to burp your enemies to death is amusing to no end.

I'll never buy Hex, Drill Sergeant, Stump Smash, Zook, and Lightning Rod simply because of looks. Call me superficial, but I'm fine with the small box of guys I do have. Flameslinger will probably stay on the shelves as I'm totally in love with Sunburn (who I have) so I can't justify another fire type.

Waiting on Camo and Wham Shell. Camo attacks with melons and that's awesome (also amusing) and well, giant angry crab? YES PLEASE.

Correction: Eruptor and Drill Seargent. Either path I took with Eruptor made him seem weak... And I just don't like Drill Searg,at all....

Lol best outta the 3 is warnado then camo? Warnado the best air element in my opinion.

*Gasp* No, just no. You are horribly mistaken my friend.
Warnado is cool and all, (Third fav Skylander) but he's not the best Air Element. I'm sorry.
I will argue on behalf of WhirlWind, he's a close ranged attacker and semi-long ranged.
His tornadoes look easy to dodge as well as his first attack, whilst Whirl Wind has her clouds, I don't have her yet but what I can tell is that her Tempest Dragon Path is a very defensive offensive path to go down as she can have all three clouds close to her and just shoot her rainbows away.
