So, this happened awhile ago but I never made a topic for it, so here goes. When i bought my L-Trigger Happy awhile ago and i put it on the portal, its nickname was "j was here". I guess somebody bought it, nicknamed it, then returned it. Post if anything happened like this before to anyone else.

if you do the old buy then return thing, make sure to nickname the figure something to identify how the new owner can reset ownership

like "ResetInCharMenu" or something

I've returned brand new individual figures in the past when I've found them cheaper in a 3 pack and I know I could've done this or played with them or whatever, but there are 2 main reasons I didn't.

1) Personally, I'd hate to have a figure I bought brand new and paid full price for to come with any sort of message/previous data, but at the very least I know how to easily change the name of it or to reset it.

2) Hear me out, I know I can't stop you guys from doing this, but a lot of kids play with these and possibly unsupervised by a parent because it should be safe to play without them around, so I'm thinking it'd be better to not change anything at all, but if you feel you need to...like it's your right to do so, at the very least, please don't leave anything obscene for a child to discover or for a parent to be upset about.

Totally agree with this. Anything age appropriate would be hilarious though. Maybe a Dr. Doofenschmirtz "inator!" version of the Skylander's name. Or maybe a "Most Underestimated" title for a Boomer. That'd be pretty good in my opinion.

I just got a Wrecking Ball for free from the Walmart orders. I'm going to return him to walmart or exchange him if they have other characters in stock. Im going to go nickname him right now

Suggestion? I can totally be a little inappropriate and call him Blue Balls

I was at target and some guy was returning 4 that he said were "broken". Out of curiosity I asked him how 4 could be broken and he said when he put them on the portal they did not show up in his list. I told him that means he is not the "owner" of them and told him how to make them his. So I am guessing someone returned a big batch of them.

i am amazed at how many people are just to ignorant to check the menus in this game.
they are the simplest of menus, yet people would rather return them then read the game manual.

i'd nickname it "___ exclusive" "secret ____" or something just so some noob here would say "omigaaaawd! i found a new sekrit skylanders at target, they only have 1 in the wolrrrld and im selling it for $700" priceless.
