Whos the fire element sun burn or igniter. Most people agree its one of these two but which one is better? I personally say sun burn. Maxed all his stats, went the blaze dragon path and he's amazing. Played kaos lair with him, just him didn't need to use someone else. Beat kaos alone with him. He's awesome. And the other two flame slinger and eruptor isn't even. No where close. So this topic isn't for them. So who's better igniter or sunburn?

Hmm. Well, both are pretty great honestly. For attack damage, I'd say it's a toss up. I chose Blaze as well because I like the breath attacks for the Skylanders, but I also really like the Soul of Flame for Ignitor. I don't know the exact numbers, but I'm pretty sure you could do more damage with Ignito hopping around, since with Sunburn, you do a constant damage, but if you get him then you have to recharge up to the max again.

Hm...
I don't have either of them yet. But I gotta admit, Sunburn is pretty overrated, and that fact is tainting him for me... Thus a little bias comes into play. I like the looks of Ignitor better, honestly, but I'm just being biased. When I get them both, I'll give a real answer then, but right now it's Ignitor. I love the look of his second attack.. In before "EXCUSE U, SUNBURN ROKS, NOAW SHUT UP "

I respect what u say but if you haven't played either then you really can't say. And igniter soul flame is okay but I didn't like him, and both max all the way up on stats sunburn did a better job. And the Phoenix dash is amazing.

I know, I already mentioned that. But thanks for not getting mad or anything.
I heard Ignitor is stronger than Sunburn, but I won't judge from that until I play them myself (besides, I don't go by strength, I go by fun).

Ignitor's damage output, maxed out, Soul Flame, is significantly better than Sunburn's damage output. But, Sunburn is much more versatile with his Phoenix Dash and teleportation, even if you don't go down Flame Lord, it's still a good way to get out of a tight spot in melee.

You must haven't maxed the stats out completely most people don't. Do that to both of the, then give me your input it will most likely change. And level them completely up.

And no prob, and if u wanna go by fun the sun burn deff is a lot funer then igniter. You can play with the Phoenix dash. Like zap, lol I like playing with his slime path lol. But that's for a whole different topic lol. |

Still, thanks. Need more people like that who have respect for others' opinions. ^^
I'll certainly give my real judgments later once I get them both then. I'm just being biased right now, so don't mind me.

It'll take some time for me to get around to doing that. My theory is that Ignitor still does more damage per sword swing and overall damage per second while Sunburn needs a little time to start racking up serious damage, due to the nature of how his flame breath upgrade works. Hopefully, I can test that or someone else can. However, even so, I still think Sunburn is better overall due to his versatility in his attacks and defensive abilities.

what d-rex said ignitors raw damage output is higher than sunburn but sunburn is more versatile that ignitor especially down the flame lord path but it terms of damage igitor has him beat

As someone posting in your Camo thread I find your comment there insulting... I don't think Camo will be super powerful and I don't care if he isn't... I'll still buy him because I think he looks cool... Zap isn't especially powerful but you still like him... but then like (nearly) any Skylander you can cause a fair bit of devastation with him if you just play it right. Don't get me wrong, I quite like Zap... I just recently got him and the very last thing I did in the game was Stump Smash's heroic challenge which, with electrofied slime was great fun... but he is a long way from being the most powerful. Power isn't the be-all-and-end-all... if it was no Pokémon fan would like Pickachu... lets face it... he sucks in the competetive arena... even with a Light Ball... Nobody in that thread at all has said they're convinced he'll be amazing... some people think he could be and I'm reserving judgement... but I think what you said is both rude and factually inaccurate.

I wasn't trying to be insulting, and I know zap isn't the best I know that. He's just my favorite I love his slime, and is quite powerful with it. In my opinion he is the best water element but that there is another topic. But his ability is what makes him good in my opinion.

So far i have ignitor maxed with all heroics i have which is all but 2 thats avail I have sunburn level 7 and all speed and elemental power maxed working the rest of the challenges in a little while. As of right now i like ignitor better damage out put is definately more at this point and being able to jump out of his body is a pretty sweet attack. Sunburn i guess i expected more from so he is a little disappointing for me but that could change once i get him maxed out it did for stealth elf.

Yeah max him out, you'll like him. And yeah I try not to get all excited about a skylander before I play them cause I don't want a let down. I will say I wanna play warnado to try his tonadoes out. But not getting all hyped out about him.

I like sunburn better, but igniter is a little bit stronger.

Ignitor really does have the edge in terms of damage numbers, but this isn't a slight against Sunburn; Ignitor beats the vast majority in that regard. Sunburn is definitely a little more versatile, and faster, but doesn't attack more quickly than Ignitor, who can be anywhere on the field dealing damage with SoF in the blink of an eye. It's hard to say who has more use overall, across all modes, but Ignitor is better in PVP, and does more damage.

Agreed igniter does more damage, and sun burn is fater. But persoanlly I choose sunburn over igniter. I like his attacks better. And I like his play style better.
