Yeah, GAME has great pre-owned games, as well as new games.

I don't really like the idea of things becoming even more Americanised over here, myself. :/

Lawl, we deal with a lot of criticism. I'm honestly surprised it's taken Walmart to actually brand itself in the UK under the Walmart name.
Actually, I thought I read something today about Activision not supplying GAME Stores. Or something like that.

Do you have a link to an article that confirms it?
From the last article I saw, the store was still not in bad enough condition for someone to actually buy it, but Walmart, alongsides Gamestop and I think some other company had expressed interest in buying the brand. And yes, Walmart IS in the UK... its just called ASDA here. They've been part of the same family for WAY over 10 years (In 2002-2003 when my family went to the US, my mother got employee discount at Walmart because she worked at ASDA at the time). ASDA have Skylanders on their (ASDA Direct) website!

Glad to know I'm not the only one, Deandria
Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with America, but I like it to be somewhere I visit. If I pretty much lived in a mini-America, it would take that charm away. A bit like I'm sure the Americans wouldn't want to turn into a bunch of tea-sucking Brits ;-) |

Precisely.
America is good but England (and the UK in general) is rapidly loosing all our industries and culture... it's pretty sad.

Ever been to Milton Keynes? They have a WalMart. And it is CRAP on Skylanders, I mean it. It's a big old place, none at all a few weeks back. You want to know what a UK version of WalMart will be like, you go there. I think we are fine with ASDA, thanks very much. There's another 24 in the UK, so you have your WalMarts right there That's a pic of the MK one, so you know what to look out for I really want Comet to buy them though Mainly because it's NOT WalMart |

Is that on the cards? Because that sounds good to me... afaik Comet is a British company... and they do sell games so they do have a footing in the industry
