It is a bit saddening to see them doing all this sort of thing with the Skylanders franchise (essentially continuing to cheapen it), although I can't say it's a huge surprise. I'd rather them put the energy and effort into getting a higher production rate of figures out there and releasing them in a more timely manner.

Go to Rovio's site and take a look at the Angry Birds costumes if you want real horror.

Halloween costumes produced by a company are usually cheap and poorly made/designed. Your best bet would to make your own costume.

Hey the Angry Birds costumes are "THAT BAD". My church had a skit called angry birds live and it went pretty good.

Omg those are just... beautiful. I just... aahhhhh so beautiful :' ).
Gotta love the eye cut outs on those masks, and the lack of gloves. And the really shiny fabric for Spyro!! Its like the person who designed it doesn't know the first thing about costume making- STAY AWAY FROM THE SHINY FABRIC.
That horribly flat scale pattern as well, omg omg omg this is just great.

Toddler ones are pretty cute though, still aren't well made but they look far more acceptable than.... well the child ones.

Because that's the Pokemon they keep shoving down our throats because of the anime.

Don't forget that the manga was first with Red (who Ash is kinda based off of) and his Pokemon was Pikachu and Pokemon Yellow Version with the main Pokemon being Pikachu. I'm not a huge fan of the anime, I only watched the first season when it came out as a kid.

I think the Toddler Spyro one is pretty solid-looking. Things usually fall apart when they try to do the mask/face, and this seems to be no exception.

Of course he's overrated; he's the freaking mascot. I used to hate Pikachu, now I really like him. He's just cute and somewhat charming.


And I must have a bad sense of fashion, as I don't think the costumes are the WORST. POSSIBLE. THING.
