i was just wondering how often the totem pole that sits by arbo in the sanctuary respawns?

I believe it respawns after each Eternal Source you collect. It gives you some killer money in the end, by the way.

It respawns til you use 7 or all 8 elements... then its just a rock in the ground

The last time I did it and it didn't come out anymore I was like "WTF!? NOOOOO!"

i got stuck on the second one. i couldn't do it till i got flame slinger. after that, i just kept going through each totem pole with ease

you can reset it if you quit to menu and re.enter your game.. like you take the totem down, take the money, go back to menu, reload your game and tada the totem is back..

Wait, the totem has all 8 elements? Mine only has Tech, Water, Fire and Magic.

Each Time you destroy the totem with your Skylanders a new element will be added. When you go to a chapter and return to the ruins the next totem will show up.

When the last totem is gone it won't come out anymore even if you start a new game.

I have the ps3 version and I found something out:
I deleted the main settings and the save game from the ps3 folder and then started a new game and voilá - the totem's there again
I don't know if this works with xbox360 and Wii but I think it should work.

Deleting the main files seems like a whole lot more work than its worth. Take longer to work through the game all over again and get all the stars back than the payout from the totems.
