^agreeded. it's sad that all we got from the tech element was a bomb throwing troll, a drill robot with the front of a train as its face, a dragon in a robot suit, and a gun slinging gremin that shoot coins as bullets. there should have been more robots, making them more "techy"

The tech suit dragon is one of my favorite designs he has a cool backstory.

As for new skylanders I'd like to see an octopus like water creature or a Krakken as the water giant. Maybe an armadillo earth skylander with a bull whip. A karate praying mantis would make a cool life skylander. I don't know what element he would be probably life but a bear of some sort would be pretty sweet, he could throw beehives and leave a honey trail for opponents to get stuck in.

I was thinking an Undead Skylander that had hands that could Morph into weapons! Like a hammer
Or Maybe a Skylander of The Air element which had an ability similar to that of Kirbys Copy Ability.

i had an idea for an new skylander
name: Bone Crawler
element: undead
moves: primary: Death Bite
secondary: Spider Spawn
upgrade move: Silk Strangle

The last thing they need is ideas for more Skylanders. Haven't we seen enough? And we haven't even seen everything in Giants yet.

I really want an anaconda or snake skylander

I quite like the idea of 'sets' of Skylanders... much in the same way as there is a dragon for each element I'd like to see an elf/drow for each element, we already have a good start on that with Stealth Elf and Flameslinger but I could see other elemental elves (some work better than others).

I also had a thought this morning: I'm not a fan of Lightning Rod but that's really because I don't think he really fits with the other Skylanders... but if they made a set of Skylanders based on the Greek gods he wouldn't be on his own... We could have a Skylander based off Poseidon for water and Hades for undead. Unfortunately my knowledge of Greek gods currently fails me but I'm sure we could find one that fits the basic elements thought tech would be a stretch...

I also agree that an aditional robot or 2 would be nice.

Though more Skylanders means more money to be spent... so I hope they don't make too many or it'll end up like Pokémon and I think they crossed a line when they passed 500... seriously guys... you can't keep making more and more forever it's already beyond rediculous.

But we do know there will be at the very least 16 more and probably another 16 at the next game because unless Giants flops badly (which is so unlikely I'd laugh in the face of anyone who suggests it) there will be at least another one after that.

life: a frog with a lotus flower on his back
air: a flying fish

the difficulty with something like this is avoiding the pokemon character design syndrome, where everything is basically "its a <species of animal> but with <some distinguishing feature or attribute>"

if you want some nice inspiration, look up an old toy line called Xevoz. those things were quite original in their own right, and PACKED with personality. there was this dumb attempt to package them with a half-baked battle game concept. kids didn't care for it, and the line died. it's become something of a cult hit, but the figures dwindle by the year.

I have a Life skylander idea, It is a Serpent type creature.
Tanglevine ~ Name
Primary attack ~ Grass Knot (I know its a pokemon move) Large Vines erupt and snag the foe and trips them
Secondary attack ~ Gigas Leaf, Giant leaves slice enemies like swords, and Heals you 50 HP by surrounding yourself.
Special attack ~ Photosynthesis, creates a mystic spring that heals you for 15 seconds restoring 5 HP at every second.

Max HP- 560
Speed- 90
Armor-60 (+40)
Critical Hit- 85
Elemental power- 100

The 40 Armor boost is from its Gigas Leaf path and a glimmering leaf lays on your back similar to Ignitors shield.

The entire idea is based off pokemon stuff!

I had a new idea for a magic skylander called Oddblob, who is a humanish shaped purple blob. His moves are:
1) Throw a blob of his own body at his enemies
2) Absorbs an enemy and controls them, using their attacks and slowly bringing down their HP
3) Splits into multiple, smaller versions of itself. HP and attack is slightly lower, but when one dies he jumps to another. Press again to reform.

Let me know what you think.

Also, I'm thinking of the upgrades for Neowulf and Chainmale, as well as Oddblob.

i know right? man, those figures had such personality. it really was the american equivalent of Revoltech (look it up).
i think i still have a FrankenPunker around here somewhere, as well as that robot character. They had very wide feet and stiff points so doing running poses was a breeze and looked very natural.

They should make magic bull skylander named Intensitor it's attacks would be
core attacks: horn swipe: Intensitor swipes enemys (and friends) with his horns
: horn charge: Intensitor puts puts his head down and charges
basic upgrades: machete horns: horn swipe is now stronger
: sword charge: horn charge is now stronger
: Physchic speed: Intensitor enters a Physchic mode and he becomes invincible and faster but can't attack during this time
Path 1 upgrades horn swipe and phychic speed
Path 2 upgrades gives you the power of elements in your horn charge

soul gem: found in arkian armory
Intensitor makes a magic bridge that hovers above water and appears when you stand on them i.e he walks on water

I have thought of the upgrades for:
Chainmale:
Core abilities:
1. Chain whip: Attack with both chains. Press A, A, A to do a chain whip combo.
2. Chain grapple: Grapple enemies and pull them close to you, then hit then with a powerful blow.

Enitial upgrades:
1. Chain spin: Hold A to spin your chains round, doing constant damage. Also, chain whip does increased damage.
2. Tornado blast: Hold Z to spin both chains, creating a tornado beam which damages enemies.
3. Double chain grapple: Press B to shoot 2 chains that grapple enemies
4. Blowback beam: Tornado blast blows back enemies.

Path 1: Metal Fury
Further upgrades his chain attacks
1. Whiplash combos: Press A, A, B to do a metal tornado. Press A, A, Z to do a chain fury charge.
2. Axe tipped chains: Chain whip and chain grapple do increased damage.
3 How does he do that?: Press B to shoot 3 chain grapples.

Path 2: Spinner Demon
Further upgrades spinning abilities
1. Tornado crafter: When an enemy is hit by a tornado beam, a small tornado forms, slowing the enemy down and doing repeated damage.
2. Tornado-tipped chain: Chain spin and tornado beam do increased damage.
3. Spin shield: While using chain spin and tornado beam, you can deflect attacks.

Soul Gem:
Energy transfer: If you hit an enemy with chain grapple while they are attacking, all attacks are increased for a short time.

Trunk-Blast
Tech Element Skylander
A cyborg elephant that stands on 2 feet. One robotic blaster arm that shoots peanuts. two robotic legs. Scope on his eye. Metal chestplate with glowing orb in the center.

Attacks

Primary Button: Peanut Shot - Shoots a peanut from robotic arm
Secondary Button: Elephant Stomp - Trunk-blast stomps and creates a shockwave that damages enemys


Upgrades:

Power Stomp: Elephant stomp knocks back enemys
Tusk Charge: Trunk-Blast uses robotic legs to run at a high speed
Rotten Peanuts: Peanuts Do more Damage
Sharp Tusks: Tusk charge does small amounts of damage

Paths
Circus Elephant: Upgrades Peanut shot
Agile Elephant: Upgrade Tusk Charge

Circus Elephant:
Supernut: Peanut explodes dealing damage to a nearby enemy
Hypernut: Shoot peanuts much faster
Doomnut: Shoot hold primary button to charge up a multi-Peanut attack


Agile Elephant:
Elephant Run: Tusk Charge lasts longer
Left in the dust: Tusk Charge leaves a trail of spikes that damage enemys
Tuskinator: SPikes grow larger and do more damage

Soul Gem: Extremestomp- Requires Soul Gem From Pachyderm Palace
Elephant Stomp stuns enemys

Story for Trunk Blast:
Trunk-Blast was at first a perfectly normal elephant with a thirst for adventure. One day he followed drobot into the lava lakes for a dare. Unfortunately, he was spotted by glumshanks, and thrown into a lava lake. Drobot rescued him, and in order to save his life, made a few modifications, using the technology from drobots own suit. Drobot invited him to join the skylanders, where his thirst for adventure could be satisfied, far, far away from any type of lava. As you can imagine, he did not get along very well with eruptor.

By the way, I also thought of a story for Chainmale:
Ever since he was a child, Chainmale loved chains. He played with chains, hung chains in his room, even slept in a hammock made of chains. One day, wandering through skylands, he met a man trapped in a deep, dark cave. Using his chains, Chainmale freed him, and is turned out to be an air god. He gave him the speed and power of air and tornados, allowing him to fight super-fast with his chains. Later on, he was recruited by Eon for his amazing and unique skills.

three things to keep in mind if you're even mildly serious about art.

1) your age is irrelevant, only your open-ness to new concepts and ideas matters
2) you must accept criticism, however harsh, but learn from said criticism instead of lashing against it
3) a few good art books will catapult you upwards. Jame gurney is a saint of light and color (look up his stuff, real great) and the "drawing on the right side of the brain" series will completely overturn any preconceptions you had about drawing, which is a good thing.

edit: you might think anatomy is "too difficult" and you'd rather keep to your "style", but that's a huge roadblock to progressing your art. Anatomy can be broken down to simple spheres and boxes (lots of great art books do this) and style develops from your understanding of the fundamentals. Picasso did a lot of very "traditional" looking paintings early on, to the point where you probably couldn't pin it as a Picasso piece if you didn't already know. These were his exercises in the fundamentals of light, form, color, and structure. everyone's gotta do them, they help.

Sorry, it's just that too many people have told me I suck, and then a lot of kids at my school, teachers, and my family members tell me I'm good.

Everytime these kinds of things happen, I get so confused it murdermans my brain.

but they're actually doing a disservice to you. praise without criticism is an opioid, you won't get anywhere with it.

now i'm not saying go all slit wrist a-bloo-bloo here, but just...look for flaws more than strengths.

Since some kids have actually snickered at me for drawings dragons, I've been doing everything in my power to improve. I of course work my butt off every day, but people still make fun of me.
I'm aware it's not my talent, just a hobby, but still. If I work my ass off, I should still get a little credit.

My thing is, my art type is cartoony, so don't expect fancy-pants anatomy at all.

cartoony is actually a modification of proper anatomy. once you know proper proportions, you can alter proportions in unique ways, so it "looks right", but not accurate. this is key

but seriously, look on amazon for some good art books, the good ones are REALLY GOOD.

how about an undead skylander that's supposed to be a parody of dorian grey? a ghostly gentleman that carries a decayed painting of himself. he can direct it at enemies to damage them, perhaps even throw buckets of sticky or slippery paint on the ground to either hold enemies in place, or disorient enemies as they slip-slide around.

The original Gentleman Ghost approves.
