Which Skylanders will light up?
Well besides the Giants and Prism break there are 3 more Characters that will light up!
When you look closely at your figures there are not that many that would work well???

I could see:

Drobot, his eyes could glow and he has a weird orange button on his back...he could work!
Ignitor, would work really good too with his Fire head and sword.
Plus both these two are pretty popular!

What else hummmm any thoughts?

I think there'll be one for each element based on the 8 total number.

For past Skylanders, Prism Break of course, but Eruptor would look cool glowing, and so would Drobot. It'd be cool if they do Lightning Rod or something and have his cloud light up a bit, or Double Trouble and his staff.

yeah there will be 8 light up, 8 giants, 8 new ones and 24 older remodeled ones. that is a total of 48 new toys... and there will be special variants to. get ready to go bankrupt...

From what people are saying 8 Giants with light up....and 4 Skylanders will light up.

I thought the 4th would be Double Trouble since he has a glowing orb on his staff.

That is 28 total of the original Skylanders.

Out of that original 32 Skylanders characters only 4 Will not be getting a redo or make-over for Giants!
Any guess on the 4 not being done???

My guess.....Boomer, Bash (we have enough) Not sure on the other 2????

I think the four average light up Skylanders (beside Prism Break) will be Double Trouble, Eruptor and Ignitor. Well, at least, I'd like it to be, as I think they would look awesome being light up, however, I doubt there will be two from the Fire Element both light up. So, if I had to choose otherwise I would pick Double Trouble, Eruptor, and then maybe Stealth Elf. I'm not too sure though...

In the GeekDad video, the CoFounder of Toys for Bob stated 4, then corrected himself saying there'd be 8 total LightForce Skylanders: 4 New ones, and (more than likely) 4 older ones, one of which is Prism Break.

From what I understood, the 8 was 4 older ones, 4 new ones. That's what the guy said out loud in the vid, and I'd take an actual recorded conversation over someone who's written it down and possibly mucked up the details.

Well all light ups are, the 8 giants, 4 new ones, the light up as in glow in darks are already released, all undeads are glow in dark, along with stealth elf.

so:
8 giants (all light up)
8 new skylander (4 of them light up)
28 remodeled skylanders (4 of them light up)
right?

The 4 old light up characters aren't remodels, they're just the same but they light up.

I would've wanted the fire on the fire Skylanders to light up, Flameslinger's arrow tip, and Chop Chop's eyes and helmet.

I actually think good ol' Boomer is a prime candidate for a remodel to try to make him more popular.

Ok... So 4 won't be getting a remake in any way, shape or form for Skylanders? So, maybe:

Spyro, Bash, Chop Chop and Trigger Happy; the 4 legendary characters.

Nice bionicle, I didnt even think of that... I was thinkin Camo, Lightning Rod, Wham Shell and Sunburn? them being released so late I was thinkin they would skip making them different.... but your idea makes much more sense.

I thinks spyro will still be remodeled since he will probably b in the starter pack. I think Sunburn could do with a remodeling even though he will be released late. I think he would look cool in a pose that makes him look like he is blowing fire straight up lol also liking Cynders new model, never liked her gonna getcha pose lol

That is what I was thinking seeing as how her skull is clear....

Slam-bam, he is mostly traslucent

but why he would illuminate? drobot, hex would make more sense

i think ignitor will light up and the four skylanders that wont be remade (as lights up or remodled) are sunburn, terrafin, slam bam and ghost roaster because then people would get them without having to buy the adventure packs with them

There are 32 main Skylanders 24 are getting re-modeled and 4 of the remaining 8 are going to light up so 4 skylanders are not getting anything it might be the 4 that come with the adventure packs
because there is 24 re-modeled that's 3 from each element so I think that Earth, Water, Undead, and Fire are not getting lights, that means 1 skylander from Magic, Air, Life, and 1 from Tech are getting lights
Magic: Double Trouble's Staff Air: Lightning Rod's Lightning Bolt Life: Stealth Elf's Eyes and Daggers (because they already glow in the dark) and Tech: Boomer's Dynamite or Drobot's Eyes and Source on his back.

hey sunburn55, there already is an earth lightup announced: Prism Break, so it probably will not be the life element or air

I think the four old light up will be prism break ( yes I know it has been released already), eruptor, chop chop, and double trouble.

Oops I forgot that was already one your probably right life or air might not get one

Warnado's tornado is clear so it might light up.

i think hex's eyes and skull would light up along with stealth elf's eyes and daggers. other two most probably would be double trouble's staff

Besides the giants, The only figure we know that lights up is Prism Break

I know Prism Break is going to light up also read that Eruptor will light up
