Does the blue Bash have any advantage in the game? does it look different in the game? has anyone considered getting him? please answer these questions!

He's not out yet, and won't be until April 8th. Since he's a "special" figure, I'd guess he'll probably be Level 5 with 2100 coins on him.

He won't look different in game, or have any higher stats.

i thought so. i have no plans on getting him lately, so i don't really give a darn about him.

I'm kind of disappointed that the figures won't look different in-game, and this definitely deters me from wanting to buy any of the see-through figures... Not that they'd ever reach stores near me so I could decide for myself whether they look cool enough to buy or not!

Lets hope in Skylanders Giants that all variants of Characters will look different in game!!!

Well it looks like Blue Bash is starting to show up in Canada today March 15th.....

Sure enough. eBay has a lot of auctions that have descriptions saying "in hand", rather than pre-orders.

That doesn't seem right though. If you preordered from TRU (which I did) you should be the first to have it. Isn't that, oh, I don't know, kind of the point of a PREorder??

I don't know yet. I'm still in the office right now. I doubt it will be considering that the color was voted on after the game's release and the game doesn't get patched. So unless they had planned on voting with the 3 colors and added them to the game before its release it won't be.

No, it's not. Just a plain bash, but the figure is different, like the Gold/Silvers and MetaCynder/Pearl Hex. Although a few articles said it was supposed to be stronger, so if tiker can compare it to a regular Bash, we could probably see.

Unfortunately I haven't found a regular Bash yet. I've got this blue one and the legendary one.

The stats on the card are:
85 / 90 / 30 / 20

I'll find out what they are in game when I get home.


Edit: Actually I think my son has the regular bash looking as his checklist. I'll find out shortly.

I think they are just starting to show up in Canada not full blown like Legendary trigger Happy was.

No Skylanders at the Toys R Us near me for 2 weeks

Kinda suck the package dose not say " only at toys r us" from a collection standpoint

It is a regular Bash. The game coding only has 37 unique figures.

Seeing as it's in standard Bash packaging that makes no reference to it being special, I can only assume there is no difference in-game. He'll just be a regular brown Bash.

Also, I'm not sure why I keep seeing it described as "Iridescent Blue Bash". The word "Iridescent" followed by "Blue" has no logical meaning.

Yeah, the adjective should be translucent.

I forgot to compare with a regular bash when I started playing.. but blue bash starts off at level 5 and has about 2000 gold on him out of the package.

Blue Bash is only going to be temporarily more available than gold/silver characters; at least, that's my understanding. I don't think TRU intends to keep this as a permanent part of their Skylander shipments. If you don't get it at or close to its release... then that's it.

Personally blue bash is pointless. He is not blue in the game, from what I have heard. He is level 5 and has 2000 coins, you can do this with any Skylander if yous play the lair of kaos two to three times.
