I don't know weather to preorder wave 3 from amazon or just wait and see if my local stores get them in before 30 th march .long time for my 7 yr old to wait he been waiting since Xmas as it is

I went to Game on Monday and once again, there were no Skylanders. Although I did see a lot of the carry case.
I went to some new game shop that I've never been to before and they had Dino Rang and Hex but they were too expensive. :/

As an undate:
I rang TRU Old Kent Road as today was their delivery. They had some Skylanders in but they are sold now. The guy said he is getting a delivery tomorrow but it could either be 9am early or 11am late, but I should call at 1pm to check.

Sorry, wait a second...but today's Skylanders stock have sold out by now (12.30pm) and he expects me to call tomorrow at 1pm after the possible late delivery at 11am?! What hope does anyone have of getting figures if that is the logic of staff?!

Hum, guess I will be calling TRU tomorrow to see what they have. I assumed that Amazon wouldn't have the stock.

Seems like TRU are the only option for EOI even ShopTo have changed their release date to 10th Feburary.

Had my reason which I explained. I already helped one out, and another won't pay the postage which is fair enough. A friendly pm would have got you one they are still in stock.if you still interested pm me. I'm being careful as I'm yet to receive my expected delivery. I can't stand people who clear out stores for profit is again my reason for not linking.

^Whatever Pal. If the scalpers want to stalk the threads, we can't stop them. Any information I find I share, that way everyone has a fair chance of getting their figures. I don't wish to help anyone other than fellow players, but once I post information on the easily accessible Internet, I have no control over who views it. At least if it's posted any fan can call up their local shop armed with the information that other stores in the chain have stock and there is a chance they might get something that day too. I wish everyone who visits this thread (lurker or otherwise) good luck with their hunting. I have never once recommended that anyone buys anything on eBay at an inflated price, just to wait it out and let the figure come to them. [/off topic]

no luck for me with EOI just got off the phone with my local toys r us (Norwich) and apparently they had a few in this morning which are all gone only had darklight crypt and pirate seas may just suck it up and pay stupid eBay prices if ever skylanders 2 comes out I definitely will not be supporting it. never been so frustrated with a game before

@ bizylizzie: My husband got the same email yesterday for Empire of Ice (that we already cancelled on his account) except substituting Cynder for EoI. I got him to forward to me so I could post it up here, but the message failed to send to my email address.

@ Sequoia Spyro: Well done and congrats on your get! Some of the TRU staff are morons with Skylanders, but if you find someone helpful grab their name. The Multimedia manager at Collier's Wood is awesome, his store is an over an hour's journey away for me, but I'd happily make it as he will hold on to certain Skylanders for me.

@ Skaterpunkdan: Pay the inflated eBay prices if you want, just don't go crying when you find the packs at retail the next day. Yes, it is frustrating to not be able to get the figures you want, when you want them, but hang tight, soon we'll all be tripping over them everywhere. Keep the faith

well empire of ice is now sold out online on the website i was using, might be worth the store checker, it was smyths, they are the best for all sets online at the moment and also get quite a few figures in as well, also sainsburys online is ace for figures

Rang Toys R Us Exeter yesterday and they said they'd be getting all 3 adventure packs today, delivery coming in at 7.30am but not opening til 9 and no idea where they were on the truck, so could be on shelf at 9am or be as late as noon.

Got there at 9.40,still nothing on shelf apart from storage towers so browsed. And browsed. And browsed. Asked a couple of times if there were on the delivery with not much help in return. Decided to have a couple of games of PES 2011 on the demo pod then looked around and the couple of people who were hanging around had disappeared. The supervisor had been calling customers down by NAME as they'd been taking reservations!!!? I told I thought they didn't do that and he said, "Well, somebody started doing it earlier in the week without telling me".

Couldn't believe it, got an EOI anyway and a Pirate Seas but still, bloody reservations? Looked to me that they might not have been putting them on shelf but they may have done this after I'd left.

Reservations? Really? I was at TRU Exeter as they were putting out the stock (around half 11) and they had loads (my picture above). I just grabbed one as soon as I could xP

Yeah, reservations. I don't have a problem with reservations as long as they're consistent but the reason they don't is so that the people who CAN get to the store and pick up, can do so. If they did reservations the phone wouldn't stop ringing and scalpers would have a field day.

Tru Exeter's customer service is pretty good usually, sometime lacking in knowledge do I think their communication could be improved. Felt like a shoplifter walking round the shop for 90 mins. Wish I'd spotted the Xbox 360 pod sooner, lol.

Auugh, I wish I was going near Exeter again!

I preordered the Empire of Ice on both Amazon and ShopTo.net - whichever fulfils my order first wins, basically!

Got our EOI yesterday , had to queue for an hour at the local TRU and they only had a few Adventure Packs in but at least one of them was the EOI

Also the Legendary pack arrived that i had ordered

Very happy kids when i got home

and also thanks to Ocarina unlocked Dragons Peak too :-)
so all round a very good day

I can't find any Skylanders at all. The reason is because not enough wre made back in January, so they sold out fast - I also found out that new Skylanders (Wave 3?) should be back in stock by Febuary 17th

Hay guys been a while glad to see people r having good luck finding the skylanders they need especially eoi. Talking of luck i managed to find hex and droibot which i know r old but still i needed them anyways so am wel happy now i just got to find eoi or anything from wave 3 lol

I don't know if it's a view into the future but the HMV shop in the Lewisham Center was closed down yesterday. Complete with missing shop sign and painted white windows.

Yeah, a couple of months back we went to N'Ham and the large HMV there had shut down - by large, I mean the decent one. So they only had the little crappy one in the Victoria Center :/

Here in Boston though, HMV is absolutely fine. They started shutting down 60 of their stores last year.

HMV have been struggling for a while now and have been closing quite a few shops down, with more to close. Is there any wonder when they charge more than double on Blu-ray's to what you can get them from other online retailers.

My nearest HMV has no Skylander figures and only the Wii starter pack.

The strangest things is that HMV (in Lewisham) only opened about 6 months ago. I was surprised that is closed down so quickly.
