I just came across those pics today
I figured it'd have to be a hack because he isn't out yet
But seeing how it has L-Trigger Happy in the name, I'm still deciding whether it's a hack or the person somehow aquired the figure

It's a hack to unlock the character without having the figure

I can confirm that Trigger Snappy exists, as well as Terrabite, Gill Runt, and Whisper Elf. I'll try to post pics soon.


EDIT: Terrabite, not Terrabyte. Nothing proves you're more of an IT nerd than making the spelling closer to the term it's referencing.

Does anybody know what these pets do in the game? All i could tell from the vid is that they follow you around

They follow you around and tell you they want more toys for a new video game that just came out. But those figures are sold out all over Skylands. Basically they provide you something to spend your gold on after you've finished leveling up and gotten all the upgrades.

Think Diablo minions or Stealth Elf "ghost" (forgot their proper name) knives - they follow you around and help in battles.

These things actually exist?

^ I'm pretty sure he hacked the game's code and changed it for the game to recognize other characters as one of the "pets". So the sound was probably him switching figures but they weren't the true figures for the "toy" characters.

That was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

I bled cute all over my keyboard AGAIN.

I'll outright be honest, I did use Ocarina codes to make my items act as the pets. And it is the Wii version, not the PC version.

Do I have the official Pet figures yet? No, nobody does. Will I get them soon after they come out? Almost definitely.

p.s. I already have 18 of the characters and all of the Adventure Packs, with five more figures either bought online and shipping or on hold at a local Gamestop.

I realize it's a hack, but please, post Whisper Elf already.

He doesn't work for Toys for Bob obviously. He only hacked the game. And be careful about hacking around here, Activision has one of their staff joined on here, and they could find out about the videos through here.

He's not making a profit off of it. If anything by finding stuff through hacking he's keeping us more interested in possible further expansions. Which nets Activision more money.

Still, Activision will take down hacked content that hasn't been revealed yet with no mercy, giving the uploaders copyright strikes and taking down vids. They're merciless. They will even shut down this site for posting hacked content if they wanted to.

Activision normally gets their panties in a knot when its video material of a unreleased game, mods on a game made public, or showing public how to manipulate a glitch that shows their games as not perfect. Frankly I don't see them caring all that much on this givin the huge success the game has netted.

We could argue if the *pets* classify as unreleased material but as there isn't anything on how to unlock them ourselves I find it hard to not argue "free use" until Id been able to review Activisions copyright policies.

Number and letters are probably hexadecimal and are not relevant more than #101 or #103.

I'm willing to take down anything Activision wants me to take down, provided they contact me first. But to be on the safe side, I won't try Dragon's Peak or post any content on it until it is legitimately available. (Again, I'll buy it first thing when it is.)

On a completely unrelated note, a friend of mine got Whirlwind in the mail today. Even though it had a detached wing (easily fixable), I'm still pretty jealous. Mine only just arrived in state 4 hours ago.

That's how YouTube works. They don't give you a warning, they just take it down.
