Cannot beat Stealth Elf!!! (pvp) [CLOSED]

I have about 16 Skylander's beat the game, and now doing PVP with the famjam. Everyone says Drobot, and Terrafin are strong.. but they can't touch Stealth elf.. No one can.. It's those swords that follow her, she's literally invincible.. Has anyone beat a full upgraded Stealth Elf against a decent player? I'm willing to go pick up anyone and try anything.. I'd like it to come down to skill and power.. not just complete overpoweredness..

Thanks guys!

Put a blindfold on the one your playing against. I would imagine you can take out stealth elf then.

I dont do the PvP as my kids dont have that skill yet. I have heard that drobot can be a beast in game. Have you done all of the challenges with your figures?

Cynder is the only answer. And even she doesn't win 'em all. But get Cynder. As of today, she is the only consistent counter for Stealth Elf in the game.

This. The only other approach I can offer is Terrafin. However, DON'T body slam as it takes too long to get back underground. Just keep sending the babies out, pop up, and get right back underground.

I've also got to add, if you play on Wii, you have the easy way out with Volcanor Eruptor. The mechanics of his eruption attack make him lopsidedly strong against anyone who has to get close to him to do damage. He is easily the best hard counter to Stealth Elf in any version of the game... but only on Wii.

^ Why only on the Wii? I have the Wii version so is he more powerful on the Wii than he is on other consoles?

Tashiji, have you tried Voodood's trip lines against Stealth Elf yet? I haven't am curious if they stop and "pause her movement long enough for his Axe to do its damage ...

Eruptor's volcanic eruption is an instant move on Wii and has a second or so delay on other consoles allowing it to be interrupted.

In my experience, Tripwires do stymie her slightly, but aren't enough to make Voodood a consistent counter. He does more damage to Stealth Elf than most, but since her charge is conducted in segments rather than a lengthy dash, she can correct herself and just flip around the tripwires if she doesn't want to go over them. If he uses Zipline Axe, he unfortunately puts himself right where she wants him, thus neutering his best attack against most characters.

Truthfully, I'm stuck in the same conundrum as Speersy. She's my favorite character, and my avatar, but sadly, broken to the point of being ban-worthy in PVP.

Try L-Bash or Bash on the tail swing path as he deals the most damage.
He can also roll away if you get pinned down.

I found that FlameSlinger was good as long as he kept away from her. But then again, that was before I was able to purchase her swords that follow her. Since then, she has been able to take out any of the game play bad guys without much of a fight. Even Kaos' Minion are not a problem any longer. They are taken out within seconds. I have not tried her in a PvP since then. We also have some characters who are banned from being played in there. TerraFin was one of our strongest characters for a while. But since getting StealthElf and doing Hereo Challanges and buying all powers, she's pretty amazing.

Would Chop Chop be an answer?
If the attacks are from the front, can't he block and counter rush her with his shield?

Terrafin can easily beat stealth elf. You can just go under ground if you took the sandhog path and spam the Z attack if it is the wii.

Terrafin and Drobot are both good choices. I dont play pvp a lot but i went up against my friend when he was using stealth elf. I chose Stump Smash and won. His acorns are a good way to slow her down and its hard to dodge 7 acorns bouncing around the leval

I would listen to this person. All I see is positive posts regarding PvP and I know that they battle another poster here and the skill level seems equal. Last I heard, cynder was a good battle for the elf with drobot a second best.

Terrafin does okay, but I wouldn't call the victory easy by any means. She can sustain a longer battle than him due to regen, and if he's playing cheap and just staying under ground, she can play even cheaper and avoid him entirely while waiting for whatever damage he does do to regenerate--even if it takes a long time. He just can't keep up with her speed, and every couple of seconds she avoids him is 5 HP back, whereas she can do severe damage to him (that he can't recover) if ever he's unlucky enough to surface at the wrong time, or in the wrong spot. He battles her better than most, but I really haven't had the positive results everyone else is reporting. Her Regen is a major problem for any approach that focuses on DoT.

As for Drobot, he does okay against a run-of-the-mill Stealth Elf, but the more skilled the player is, the less likely Drobot is to be able to hold her off. He can't do the damage she can, nor can he escape as fast as she can pursue.

Her Acrobatics are slightly nerfed on Wii in terms of distance and speed, though, so you have a much better chance to beat her than you do on PS360.

Again, it's got to be Cynder for me. She's hard to escape if Stealth Elf is trying to be cheap and regen, she has a damage bonus, and lightning is difficult (but not impossible) to get around in terms of Stealth Elf's favorite "flip in, shred" tactic. Stealth Elf still does occasionally beat Cynder. Don't think you're going to go 100% by picking her. Just be happy that you'll win more than you'll lose, and your opponent will have to pick somebody like Ignitor if they want to beat you easy. A weakness to one of the less-available, lesser-used characters is about Cynder's only drawback in PVP, and while she doesn't dominate the field the way Stealth Elf does, she's still difficult to handle for most characters.

really I don't see why you have trouble just get a skylander and upgrade his/her projectile path like for example: Spyro= Fireball path or Trigger Happy= Gun Path Gill Grunt= either path Dark Spyro= Fireball path so those are examples of characters from both systems (console & 3DS) I'm not sure about Stealth Elf & Ignitor yet

Double troulbe i suppose would you always have a distance to beam her and the magic bomb would be useful in close combat.

Zap! My brother almost beat me with him this morning, literally having zap and stealth elf at like 10hp each and i got the final hit, but his slime trails and his tesla strikes are crazy, specially cuz they home in on me(stealth elf)

anyone with high LV full upgrades and projectiles can beat a LV 10 Stealth Elf full upgrades and try completing some Heroic Challenges like my Spyro he's LV 10 all upgrades (fireball path) and 15 heroics he has a speed stat of 83 and his flying upgrade makes him EVEN FASTER and boosts the armor stat and FYI I'm gonna tell you guys the armor stat formula and purpose the higher your armor stat the more likely to completely block an attack every 3 you get for the stat the percentage goes up by 1 exp: 3 armour stat = 1% chance to completely block an attack and since a stat can only go up to 100 then the MAX chance to block an attack completely is 33% if you want armour you should use Bash and get his soul gem and do lots of heroics If you want speed try Spyro or Stealth Elf (I perfer Spyro over Stealth Elf due to good rounded and he can fly which increase his speed (EVEN FURTHER) and armor) so out of the best I bet it's probably L - Spyro or L-Bash (L-Spyro has the same attacks as Spyro except better stats and different apperance but that doesn't matter and L-Spyro is better than Dark Spyro also and the same with L-Bash & Bash) so if you're looking for the best skylander it's very likely that it's either L-Spyro or L-Bash but I know already where they are only at "ToysRUs" and don't worry about going to everywhere after getting L-Spyro looking for L-Bash to compare them because they come in the same set (also with L-Chop Chop but not with L-Trigger Happy) after reading this post you should be far better in PVP

I play on the Wii, and Bash destroys Stealth Elf. He is left with about 500hp, and Boomer makes mincemeat of her too. Drobot is good sometimes too. Eruptor works well-I find she has quite a lot of counters frankly.

I found sonic boom is beast against her. On medea griffin, just deploy babiesto distract her, the just spam boom. It does 39 damage every time. Then again, half the people I play against opt for the "spam every button" technique.

Nerfed just means worse, or weakened. Like, has spongy Nerf stuff applied to it that dulls its effectiveness.
