If you want the best of each element, get Stealth Elf, Terrafin, Drobot, Slam Bam, Ignitor, Voodood (or MAYBE Double Trouble--haven't tried him...), Whirlwind, and either Hex or Ghost Roaster.

I agree with all of that except prism break is the best earth.

Arguable. We know he's an underdog, pretty weak early lvls and smashing late game but that's a bit too low to past Terrafin.

We all know that Zap is the best water, stealth elf life, whirlwind air, drobot tech, Dino rang earth, Ignitor fire, spyro magic, legendary chop chop undead.

When I use prism break nobody can even get close enough to damage me. It is all an opinion. To me prism break is better. Its just my style of gameplay. In the batlle arena I dominate with him. However, for someone else they may be better with terrafin. Its just my opinion. Everyone has their own.

I won't deny Prism Break can be a deadly skylander once he gets the upgrades, but after trying Bash i have my doubts. Bash's normal attack hits like a tank even at Level 1. Terrafin is the king of death.

Tech in my opinion all are good. Drobot and Trigger Happy can easily kill everything on screen, and Boomer once gets the Demolition Troll path (I tried Clobber Troll and can be helpful against Kaos Minions). Don't know about Drill Sergeant.

Magic is tricky to say. Voodood's axe missed a lot to me, Wrecking Ball does tiny damage, and Spyro is a nice range skylander but there's better skylanders for that. Don't know about Double Trouble.

Undead as long you don't use Chop Chop you will be fine. Same can be said in fire (I don't know about Sunburn)

I personally am very good with L chop chop and I suck at hex and ghost roaster.

I love ghost roaster he was the first ever skylander I used and he was my first level 10.

Here's my personal favs from each element:

Magic: Spyro. Obvious.
Tech: Trigger Happy is fun, but Drobot is really good.
Water: Slam Bam is pretty cool.
Undead: I like Ghost Roaster the best out of the ones I have. Chop Chop also seems like a good one.
Life: Stealth Elf without question. She can do ridiculous damage once she's leveled.
Fire: Thus far, Flameslinger is really good. Eruptor moves to slow for my liking, and Ignitor looks pretty meh.
Earth: Terrafin does crazy damage when you level up his fists. It's great. I originally didn't care for him, but he's grown on me. Bash is also good, but L-Bash is cooler design wise.
Air: I like Whrilwind the best. She's a lot of fun to play as.
