i arrived at the hayes store ready for opening and headed straight for the skylanders section ...

NO WAVE 3 STOCK !!!

i spoke to the supervisor and he told me that he hadn't been given any notification from head office of a wave 3 release date

the only characters they had taken delivery of were dino-rang, wrecking ball, hex, eruptor, zap and boomer

Just got off the phone with the Collier's Wood branch and they just said the exact same thing. They were holding back stock because of an article in the paper (presumably the Daily Mail) saying that they would have single figures in stock today and over the weekend. The only offer they have is that the figures are £6.97 as opposed to £6.99-£7.99. They have very little in Triple packs, Legendary figures I'm informed are "hard to get" and Adventure Packs don't seem to exist.

yup, the supervisor said the hayes store has had this stock for 4 days and were holding back putting it out because of the advert in today's daily mail. the advert is actually only a very small part of a full page advert showing lots of other toys as well.

A lot of people that don't use forums like this need those previously released figures, so I'm glad to see them in decent numbers like that. They'll be here, just be patient.

Kinda envious that we don't have a Toys R Us near us; it would have made my purchases of the Wave 2 characters that much cheaper. Either way, hopefully they'll get Wave 3 soon. We tend to be a little behind here anyway!

I sure do like those prices, too. My TRU has been selling them for $9.99 each for a while now.

unfortunately the prices shown are in £GBP which works out at $10.70 USD

I didn't take a look at the Skylanders since the wave 2, I hope the prices didn't change in Quebec...

Didn't see that. Still ticks me off that TRU jacked up their prices when no one else has.

How disappointing :/ but I think I'll still grab a bus after work to check out my TRU. May be some silvers, who knows!

here in norway we have just gotten the 'wave two' also..... i dont think we will see any 'wave 3' until february... if we are lucky getting them. we are like ca 3 months behind the usa releases...

My nearest TRU is a 20-30 minutes bus ride followed by a 20 minute walk, that's a long trip to find that they are out of stock. You can see why I've been stalking the store online and on the phone!

Our nearest is 30 miles away. Got there this morning 40 minutes after opening only to find all of the triple packs gone, looks like they only had about 6-8 in anyway. Lots of singles but already had them all.

Think I saw a scalper ad she had 3 Eruptors in her basket. Spoke to a nice guy who told me about the 3DS version, I informed him of which figures are in which waves, etc, all info from this forum.

Just went to TRU - they said they have been given a preliminary date of January 25th for "new styles" of figurines, so...

No worries - I'm hoping that the Wave 2 and Wave 3 figures will find their way to the site so we can order together from there!

i think its still kind of douchey that all the grown ups buy all the toys just for collections and the children, who the game is aimed at, does not get the chance to get what they want or have to wait longer. just saying.

Not all us grown-uos buy them to resell or collect dust on a shelf. I buy them for my kids so they can play with them.

they come out with 30 some odd characters plus rare silver and even rarer gold skylanders. And you don't think these are aimed at collectors. LOL
I think ever since they threw out those rare silver ones the game has changed. well collecting the characters i mean.

Same here. I went to TRU and thats what they did. I even tried going to other stores in other cities and nothing. I was only able to get a Dino-Rang.

p.s. what wave is chop chop in?

Chop Chop is in Wave 1 - he was available in a single pack, in a triple pack with Bash and Eruptor or a Legendary version with L-Spyro and L-Bash.

went to TRU in norwich (norfolk) about an hour ago no singles or anything basically only had the starter packs so I decided to get the 3ds version for Ignitor and Dark spyro if I wasn't getting any wave 3 thought may as well add 2 new characters . Asked the guy at counter he reckons next delivery should be Thursday

Last time I went (last weekend), all Toys 'R' Us had was a bunch of Eruptors.
