Indeed. I mean if it was like 50$ ehh not to bad I guess but 109.99 come on now. that is just sad. I guess its a good price if you had a six figure job. or your kids are spoiled. But things that that other people see it so they think they can get the same price for it so that is why it goes up.

I play warcraft and do that kinda stuff in the game with items. but its a game real life is messed up. Hell my water bill was cheaper than that for two months.

I think the price is not important to that post.
More important is the nearly confirmed release date:

Quote:

So I guess this means if he ships on 16th he must probably get it January 15th... is that the official date now?

I'm not mad at the resellers but at the stupid people who buy them for their ridiculous prices! smilie
They are buying skylanders for ridiculous prices when they can buy them for they're regular store price the next week.
If they didn't buy them the resellers would see they don't sell at their f@%!ing ridiculous prices!
And because of them the kids won't be able to play with them!
They make me mad! smilie
They have an interest in air and life skylanders idk why but the point is they're making it hard to fully enjoy the game!!!
It took me a month just to find an air skylander!

You aren't allowed to bid on your own items. That's called Shill Bidding and it's against the law.

Well, sellers shouldn't do this. Even if they are, I'm sure there are people who are really interested in these buying them, but my thought is this. You should at least TRY to get the new ones before resorting to eBay. If you can't find them, then if you want to spend the money go ahead, but why rush to pay these prices for them?

The reason I think people bid on their own items, is because when I was bidding on that Skylanders store display, someone won it out from me at the last second. I kept checking the feedback of the seller, to see if the item arrived to the person, and no feedback was left.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but if you look at feedback, shouldn't that give you some kind of relief? If they have little, then maybe they are doing something like that, but if they have an impressive amount of feedback, don't you think they would know eBay's rules and follow them? This is just my two cents. I could be wrong.

This x1000. I was trying to bid on a plush I wanted and had it go up from like...$5 to $15. I REALLY wanted it, but..lost it last second.

What's not fair is that people ARE paying this much for them. You can sit and blame people selling these things for outrageous prices all day but they're not gonna do anything because they're making money. The people you all SHOULD be directing yourselves at is the ones buying them. Why not send them a courteous message on ebay stating that the prices for them are super outrageous and that they could find them much cheaper in store. If they state they can't find them, you could even work out a deal to get them to the people who want them!

you cant trust feedback at all, sellers have full control. they decide what feedback is accepted, you see they pay evilbay for the usage of evilbay, so evilbay will be on their side if sellers complain. you as a buyer have nothing to say at all, you dont make evilbay money..
