Thought I'd give a heads up. I called a gamestop today to see if they had any figures and the guy said they received a small shipment this morning of around 6 figures. I called four different gamestop's in my area and all of them said they received a small shipment this morning. Two of the stores had already sold out but I managed to get 5 that I needed from the other two stores (Bash, Sonic Boom, Prism Break, Eruptor, Wrecking Ball). So it looks like a mix of Waves 1 & 2. Also they only received single packs at every store I called. No 3 packs or adventure sets.

Dangit.
I find it horribly ironic I went to the mall about an hour ago with my mom and brother and wanted to go to Gamestop.
But of course my brother ruined the trip. :'I

when my mom went today they were gone nothing D: im hoping around the 14-16 they have a big shipment in so i can get drobot cynder whirlwind and drill

I went to 2 GameStops today, haha. I got a PW Nintendo DS game.

As for the Skylanders, the first GameStop I went to had none, only starter packs. The second one had a few Boomers, one Dino-Rang and Hex and Zap, and something else. Nothing really to report.

Awesome. My GameStop still has some Wave 2 figures, and guess what? Lots of Boomers :3

I drive around the Phoenix Valley (Arizona) for my job so if I see a place that sells Skylanders while I'm out I'll stop there so it works out pretty nice. I'm up to 16 Skylanders now.

Not Gamestop but I called Wal-Mart after seeing this thread and was told they just put more on the shelf 15 minutes prior to my call. I was already on the way home so I stopped in. The did have a good number of Stump Smash and Voodood but no Drill Sergeant. The lady asked if she could help me and I asked her if she had any Drill Sergeant that she was aware of. She said they had a lot but some lady bought them all like five minutes before I arrived. So aggravating.

I went to three more gamestops today and all had gotten more stock although none had one's I needed.

Columbus, OH area Toys R' Us and EB Games both got some limited stock in. We have three TRU's, two still had some limited stock of boomer, bash, wrecking ball, zap, and one or two others. They also had some 3 packs, even one pack of the Wrecking Ball, Sonic Boom, Stealth Elf which I almost talked myself into buying because I need the SE out of it. The other store said he put 20 out and 2 hours later was sold out. EB Games had somewhat same variety, just less of them. I only need SE and the two exclusives that I am waiting for the 3 pack to get. Errr, I mean my son wants them, really...

The closest walmart to me got some stock in but not whirl or drill, the only 2 i need that are currently available. From the sounds of it, it was wave 1 figures with stump and sonic and what not. Nothing new in town for me.

Went to toysrus today and they had 20 of the Darklight Crypts but nothing else.

All my TRU has most of the time is
Darklight Crypt and Boomer

I went to Toys r us the other day, and they had a whole lot of Boomers on their shelves, and no Legendary Packs.

boomer darklight crypt and the triple pack with him in it. they also had starters. and gamestop, I asked and they said just starter packs.

Yep every store I go to has a full supply of the starter packs. I just got a copy of the 3DS version off amazon warehouse deals for $49 like new. After getting those three characters the only things left I need are Chop Chop, the Pirate Adventure Pack, the Legendary Pack, Whirlwind and Drill Sargeant.

legendarys don't count as the 32 same for dark spyro but he is a different charecter than spyro

weren't the exclusives just to celebrate the first 30 days of the release of the games?

They're more like clever ways to buy into the property via partnerships. It helps with getting more money to the individual stores, as well as Skylanders as a whole.
(ooh. They're also more like...3 months. According to what I saw at Walmart, Drill Sarge ended on the 31st of December, so I assume the same was for Whirlwind)

It shouldn't be, no.

When I went there shortly after the new year, they had a giant cardboard triangle thing (I usually saw them at TRU near there extra area for Skylanders stuff) which stated "Exclusive Figure: DRILL SERGEANT. Offer Expires 12-31-11"

My Game Stop had a lone Wrecking Ball and my brother bought it.

My Target had a Stealth Elf alone with nothing else left! I have no idea why nobody bought, but I didn't want to take any chances of not seeing it again so I bought it. I needed a Life skylander anyways.

I seriously wish our local game shops would get more stock. Although it's kind of redundant now since I finally got my Wave 2 characters!

Picked up Pirate Seas and Drobot/Flameslinger/Stump Smash the week before Christmas at Game Stop. They haven't had jack since. Kicking myself for not picking up a Zap/Hex/Dino-Rang when I saw it. Looking forward to the new triple pack coming out though.

This thread is kind of taunting considering how almost every store across the US is out of Skylanders (except your Gamestop). Every single gamestop in the Phoenix area got a small shipment last week (40+ stores) so I see no reason why I shouldn't have made a thread about it. It at least let's people know to be on the lookout and that they are shipping more out at least in small quantities.

I'm just trying to find Zap. I'd been checking online at Target and gamestop to see when single packs r in stock and finally Target said "in stock" so i went there and all they had was 6 single packs and a three pack. I asked the guy if that was really all they had and he said ya that they had only received one box and that's all that comes in a box. Weird thing is though that its happened at a couple of the gamestops around here too. Seems like random stores are only getting one random box of skylanders o.O

I thought so too, that's y i put off getting him. But now he is one of the only regular ones that i am missing and it kinda bugs me just missing one lol so far around here Zap seems to b the only one that the stores arent getting :/

My target and TRU put out new shipments like every 3 days.

He opened it, and pulled out one of each of the adventure packs (including EoI). Then he went to the singles, but they were all previously released figures that we had. SOOOOOOO close.

Somebody will be happy to get that EoI, though.

All the GS around me get shipments M-F. I call every day.

Gamestop had some Cynders this morning and then said unavailable. Evidently Cynder is available again now.

Exclusives arent exclusive anymore cuz last month i bought the triple pack of whirlwind drill sergeant and double trouble(btw double trouble sux) but idk about the legendary figures or the volcanic vault.

Hit the Gamestop and Target in downtown Nashville, TN and they had nothing but empty pegs.

Sad day, got excited when I saw this topic, haha! Dinorang.......you will be mine.....oh yes.....you will....err sorry.

i eventually gave up trying gamestop and went to amazon...sure theyre more expensive but there is always plenty of them available
