I was just surfing the net today and went to Metacritic http://www.metacritic.com/

I could not believe the low scores this game was receiving!!! The critics actually gave the game great scores, it was the user reviews that baffled me??? Some people gave the game a zero or a one out of ten, I know everyone has their own opinion but sheesh would the game not have to be broken to get numbers like this? I know we have a lot of fans here that do not think the game is a zero!!!

i would give it 10 cause its one of the first to use toys with games

I joined up on Metacritic and I gave it a 10 too!!! Well deserved!

I wouldn't worry about it.

There are two things that matter with a game like this.

Do you enjoy it? If yes, than other's reviews mean nothing to you. Obviously we're all in this boat.

Is it selling well? If yes, than the profit margins speak louder than a few reviews, and sequels will come. From what I've seen and heard, this game has got to be very very profitable on the figure sales alone.

Ah. Welcome to the Spyro the Dragon fandom!

Unfortunately, as Spyro decided not to return to the Classic formula, and he's no longer 'EPIC AWESOME' LoS Spyro, his fans decided to protest, hence the low ratings. There were petitions to stop Skylanders, loads of hate art, the lot.

And sadly, most of these individuals have not even given the game a chance. 85% of them are just judging it by Spyro's appearance.

thats because they are not TRUE spyro fans. TRUE spyro fans will play it to try it or look at it properly

Or spyros lack of apperance i've heard that to .because spyro is not the main focus of the game so they have been bashing it they put which i think is crap if he wasnt the star why is his name in the title. And why does he have the most figures excluding silver ones count those tied between spyro and bash.

People should give this game more of a chance

With what RadSpyro just covered, I'd have to say even if the game is doing greatly, the crap still hits the fan with all of the so-called "loyal Spyro fans" bickering over what? A character design?
It just never ends with these immature people!

The majority of the User Reviews aren't professional reviews to be taken seriously, such as hating the game all because Spyro looks different than what they want him to look or the LoS not continuing their way.

The Critic Reviews are all that matters.

My thoughts exactly. The more these whiny "fans" keep this up, the more likely they'll make this fanbase look as bad as the Sonic fanbase, and I do NOT even wanna go there.

Activision already knows that the older Spyro fanbase is acting just as bad as the Sonic fanbase. That's why they're only listening to the younger target audience, and ignoring the older raging fans.

I don't care much. call of duty is far more bashed on metacritic than skylanders

And the lesson one needs to learn is that no matter how negative reviews will be, do not, in all ways, let it hamper you from wanting to buy the game. Who said reviews are all unbiased?

I couldn't use metacritic to bring down any game whether I like or not. Modern Warfare 3 gained low scores from users as will Final Fantasy XIII-2 because of the amount of haters.
