Nobody's being mad. It's just that we are getting annoyed to no ends of the sudden flood of the same topic over and over again, with users who don't bother to read the rules and such. Besides, kids aren't even SUPPOSED to be here. The majority of this site is someone in their pre-teens to adults. The only reason I say kids aren't supposed to be here because no parent would expose their kids to chat sites at such a young age.

Yes, Skylanders is a kids game, but kids at that age are most likely playing video games and visiting the Internet for the sole purpose of playing fun little games like the ones at Disney. I doubt they even KNOW about forums existing.

On the topic, Darklight Crypt is out in the public now. I saw one stand in GameStop selling them and Target has like what, two left? Sorry if I'm a little late I guess that means we should be getting a new wave soon.

I believe the Darklight Crypt started having wide distribution around the release of Wave 2. But it is always good to hear that people are actually finding them, I've been tired of seeing Pirate Seas everywhere

True! Now I see Darklight everywhere and in high abundance! Eventually the same will happen with each subsequent Adventure Pack I'm sure

yes... even dark and legendary versions... the ingame spyro dont, i guess they wanted to save paint or something..

About those adventure packs, I was at Toys R Us the other day and I saw that they had the packs on sale for $16.00! To my surprise there were still a lot of Pirate Seas and Darklight Crypt left o.o

EDIT: Because I feel that this is a marketing ploy of some sort, that will effect our sales.

That's what i think i have already heard rumors that when the next batch comes they are gonna be even more expensive then the last ones i'm just wondering how much more

Several stores already have their price heightened, I believe. Actually, it's just TRU so I don't think that counts.

Not sure about the Oz top 10 lists for games but the weekend paper said that Skylanders is the most popular/sought after gift for kids, for 2011.

Well, you don't seem to mind doing it. Most of the new characters I won't be able to afford, as well as the adventure packs.

I didn't look at the videos, I only saw the thumbnails, but I knew he was hacking, since I noticed he uploaded his gameplay of the unreleased Skylanders.

And some fans are already demanding like crazy on how that person got the unreleased characters.

Hmm...what was it called? I thought I saw a video that was a person hacking, but it wasn't...

Called just like any other video of Skylanders: 'Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure' or 'Skylanders' and just add Dragon's Peak. That is if Activision hadn't already found the videos.

But don't post it here, most of us don't want to be spoiled, and risk Activision shutting this site down all because it was showing hacked, unreleased Skylanders material..

I think it would have been deleted by now.

That's because Activision hasn't discovered it yet, but they usually lurk around youtube for sort of things like this, and they show no mercy...

The hacked Skylanders still show the original 'Skylanders' names despite being played. Like how the game has Camo playable, but it still shows the name 'Spyro', which means the hackers are only overwriting the character models and replacing them with the unreleased Skylanders.

i found the two video clips on youtube and spoiled myself.. i want to play dragons peak more than ever now, it looks awesome!!

in other news: today i saw one of the saddest things ever.

i was out shopping cristmas presents today, and i saw that the shelf at my gamestop where the skylanders are was empty. only that there was one small boomer figure there. the person who worked there said that he had been there for ages and that nobody ever picked him.

I would by him based on the sole reason alone.

But actually, he's winning me over gameplay and craziness wise.

Keep in mind these are just the store employees who know what they're talking about. Entire chains, like Target, Best Buy, and especially Walmart, are going to have no clue what they have in their hands with the special variants. Not everyone is affluent in Skylanders the way, say, a GameStop employee, who is paid to know these things, will be.

They're not supposed to, but eh. They do it anyway. And seeing as no one can prove it... Blargh.

Trouble is, all of my local supermarkets don't even stock Skylander figures that much. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons... They all have a small section of Skylanders (3 or less figures), and only Tesco has a substantial amount in stock (all of which, I might add, are wave 1 only).
