hello! what are you a LoS Skylanders or Clasic?

Classic.

Haven't played Skylanders but it looks more appealing than LoS for me.

Classic's my favorite.
Skylanders is my second favorite (along with all the etc. Spyro games, like AHT and GBA and DS games).
LoS is my least. It's still okay, but I pretty much hated it in almost every aspect it had (especially the predictable and boring storyline) besides gameplay, which was okay.

Legend of spyro. the storyline was nice and dark, and i liked it.

Skylanders is pretty good as well.

I really liked the last two classics. I never really got into the first one, though. But the second two were my video gaming life when I was a little shrimp. (I didn't really play games back then.) I also really liked the Legend of Spyro trilogy. I'm not really interested in Skylanders so I'm not getting it. If you didn't have to get all of the characters and everything I'd probably buy it just because its a Spyro game. But its pretty much like U.B Funkeys () so I'm not going to bother with it. (Spend $50 on the starter pack, and $5 for every other character to play the game )

^ You're lucky on that deal. Where I live, I have to pay $70 for the Starter Pack and $8 on single characters.

Oh, like there haven't been any repetitive Spyro topics before and this one is so very original.

persinly I am a LoS type of person but hey all of them are cool but have never tried the classic i don't have a gamecube but i do have an old xbox but all the games i search on ebay or gamecube for spyro it's really getting annoying

EDIT: I consider Skylanders a classic game.

I like every game that came out before Hero's Tail. Aside from Skylanders and the GBA games.

I'm a Classic fan, with Skylanders as my secondary Spyro continuity. Skylanders is a good spinoff series if you forget about Cynder and Malefor.

LoS! it had a better story line than the classics and it kept me gessing and Skylanders is weird

Well your all gonna think I'm crazy but, I've only played the legend of spyro series, so I kind of have to say LOs, although I think I would have liked that series best anyway, but still only played LOs. I think LOs wise Dawn of The Dragon was absolutely the best!

I honestly enjoy both equally. I prefer the story-line to LoS but the gameplay of the classics; the classics were my childhood.

LoS kept someone guessing?
I could guess the whole entire storyline from the beginning I saw Cynder.

The only classics I've beaten are A Hero's Tail and Shadow Legacy. A friend gave me Spyro the Dragon and Year of the Dragon, but I can't save them without a PS1 memory card :'c
Skylanders was way too easy for me until the very end, but it felt like I was controlling a Pokemon team, especially since I had a team of six. And I'm definitely okay with this.

Haven't played Skylanders, but I never felt compelled to get it, as it doesn't look very interesting.

As for the other two, they are on par to me. However, I think the Classics are overrated in many ways (with the exception of ETD, which was terrible, and AHT, which I think is underrated), and LoS is underrated in ways.

Classic and Skylanders. Classic I love more, and Skylanders is love.

Anyway, I think the original is the best, Skylanders is second best and LoS is... not the best.

The Legend of Spyro, I liked the dark story line and the soundtrack.

Oh... you wanted me to say something about game play.... It was fun, but not any whare near 'best game ever'.

I'm fairly neutral, but my preference is Classic > Skylanders > Legend.

I'm pretty equal mostly, but I think classic is slightly ahead of LoS, purely because of the fun, lovability and nostalgia, while LoS I did quite like, the 1st 2 games' cruddy linear gameplay ruined it for me, DotD was fun tho.
Skylanders, after playing the classics again recently, it has nothing on them. It's far too focussed on the 6 yr old age group, the classics were targetted at the same age group, but they can still be enjoyed by people of all ages, the humor, the gameplay, the plot, all of it. It's still fun, but not as good as the classics or LoS.

So basically, Classic> Los> Skylanders.

legend of spyro and you spelled classic wrong.

Classic mostly because it's humorous and because the games were simple (simple meaning uncomplicated, not necessarily easy) and replayable. Legend of Spyro I despise because it's built off of cliques. THE PROPHECY OF- that's an automatic clique right there. I like Skylanders better because it's okay, though its the first game so far that altered Spyro's color palette, giving him red eyes, which is archetypical.
