People may choose an upgrade path and not be happy with it or simply want to start anew.

It doesn't restart the whole game, just the Skylander character in question.

^No, it doesn't start the whole game over, you can CHOSE to restart the game. It would be pretty boring IMO to do the first few levels with a maxed up Skylander, it'd be too easy. Plus I wanna see some of the other paths.

no it just restarts the skylander. and i think it makes sense, considering once you get to kaos's lair it doesnt even take that long to get your skylander fully upgraded and fully leveled up.

Here is a scene: years after you first got the game, you found one of your figures lying around. You decided to start the whole game over, to go through the experience again. You start a new game, and reset each of your figures to start the game from scratch.

Understand now?

He means to restart with a character and replay the game from the beginning.

But once they are fully upgraded you can't improve them anymore. It's not like you have to reset them if you want to play the game again.

And that's the beauty of it: Its an option. You don't have to do it. Do what you want to do and maybe if you get bored of a particular upgrade path, or want to level up your favorite character from level 1 again, you have the option to.

Just a tactful question on if you talk to people like that in real life? If so, has anyone ever pulled you up on your tone?

You can take it with a grain of salt, but my humble advice is to always be mindful of how you sound to others; after all, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar...

When I'm older, I'll probably reset them when I want to replay the game. You know, for that nostalgic feeling.

... Have you ever played a game and erased a saved file in your memory card to redo the whole game from scratch? The toys are no different than memory cards, they have qualities of a memory card.

Going back a step, it is not the content of the reply but the tone it was written in, with emphasis on "obviously".

Please contrast this to how other people responded.
