Good to know that Drill Sergeant is going to see a non-limited release (although don't regret paying extra for mine as he's one of my favourites), same with Whirlwind, and it's also good to know that new characters (i.e. Double Trouble) are on the way!

great now we know what the third wave 3 pack will look like... and it will make it a bit more easy to get the exclusive figurines.

Yah that is really cool...although I just ordered a Whirlwind online.....still nice to see.

I had a theory about what we would see in Triple Packs, but it seems a bit off now.

However, this means we will see 2 more Triple Packs -

Triple Pack 6: Whirlwind, Double Trouble, Drill Sergeant
Triple Pack 7: (guessing) Warnado, Zook, Wham Shell
Triple Pack 8: (guessing) Cynder, Camo, Lightning Rod

What this means, is we will see at least 2 more Triple Packs on top of the one just revealed.

This also means if Ignitor really isn't exclusive to the 3DS version, he will only come as a Single Pack, since there aren't two other characters who haven't already been in a Single or Triple Pack before to join him.

i think they will put the new figurines with two older figurines to get rid of old stock... that is what gonna happen i think...

This can't work, it seems like they include at least one previous wave character in the tripple pack (Wave 2 there was no tripple pack with only the 3 new characters)

why cant they just make an adventure pack with the unreleased characters?

thats how it works, when you gotta get rid of old stock you pack it old with new... better chance of selling then...

why... because skylanders is a finished product by now. so they are not going to put extra work in it, all they want now is the money to flow in to their bank accounts..

I agree. I bet they already told Toys for Bob to make a sequel and to leave it open-ended in the DLC department. Can you imagine how much money could be made?

Variant figures appear ingame, as they do on toy. Infinite possibilities.

No cap on selectable characters, so they can pump out more than 32 characters and keep it going long haul.

Make more than 4 Adventure packs, so to keep it going. Of course, they will have to cap it, because disc space isn't infinite. However, from what I understand, Skylanders is a very small-sized game in the data department. Maybe around 1 gig or so.

You know after Activision saw they have a hit on their hands, they told Toys for Bob "Sequel greenlit. GO! Make as much as you can. Leave it open for tons of toys."

i looked at piratebay and the x360 disc image is over 7gb.... games today is about 7-14gb normally on disc..

Double Trouble, is a easy first day buy, when he finally show up....

If that's the case, what would that make of Legendary Trigger Happy?

In my opinion there must be something wrong: In Germany Triple Pack D is Stealth Elf, Wrecking Ball and Sonic Boom.
So I don't think this site has "right" information.
Please correct me if the Packs in the USA are in a different order.

Ok. So the new pack with Whirlwind, Double Trouble and Drill Sergeant can't be D. I guess the site with "the new pack" must be wrong somehow.

A employee of our Gamestop told me today that the "old" Skylanders are out of stock and getting more expensive with the next delivery in January because there will be new Skylanders next month.
So I guess the Pack will be out then. But I also really hope for Camo and Dragon's Peak.
I hope they don't change the release date anymore like the dates of Hex, Wrecking Ball and Dino-Rang

I know what you mean. It is so terribly dissapointing if you have a release date and you're waiting for it to come and you're really happy that it's near...
... and 2 days before the date they change it to one month later. That always sucks and I'm really tired of this.

It's interesting that the 2 exclusives are being released with a new character. My son really wants Ignitor. That's one that needs to come out in a single pack soon.

Looks like GAME changed the pack details to the correct pack. Perhaps we weren't meant to see that after all?

It's already too late. We've seen it. I hope it will still come out soon. I really want Double Trouble soooo much.

They can't. All the adventure packs (Yet to be released, and released) are programmed into the game, with simple hacks you can play the levels.

I can't wait to get that! I like Whirlwind and Drill Sergeant (not too keen on Double Trouble) and it's great to see that they are now un-exclusive.
